Match Comments:

Easy 3 points here Miranda gave us the lead thanks to great header from a corner and Adrain (coming off the bench) secured the points with a great left foot finish across the keeper.

Atletico 0-2 Man United: Valencia 45', Van Persie 53'

Match Comments:

We started the game well but United's experience in this competition shone through. Two lapse in concentration in our defence costed us this game. On the stroke of HT United took a qucik free kick and Valencia unmarked headed home. Start to the 2nd half and we conceded again thanks to great cross for Kagawa and RVP headed home and the near post. Not the best's of starts, Celtic away Next.

Fifth League Game

Valladolid 0-2 Atletico: Miranda 4', Villa 87'

Match Comments:

Fairly easy game, Miranda gave us a great start with a header from a corner. We had a few chance here and there but on the whole Atletico we in control of the game. Villa sealed the points after being put through by Gabi. LUIS got injured in this game and will be out for 3 months Insua will need to step up.

Sixth League Game

Atletico 3-2 Osasuna: Villa Pen 5', Suarez 8', Godin 87' - Nunez 2', Cejudo 39'

Match Comments:

Osasuna are struggling so I expected another easy 3 points but we were made to worked harder then I expected. Nunez got Osasuna of to a great start with after being put through one on one but Villa Pen and Suarez shot resumed normal service. Osasuna would not give up and thats credit to them Cejudo leveled it up. We carried on knocking on the door trying to get the winner and on the 87 min Godin rose highest to get us our winner.

MADRID DERBY (Seventh League Game)

Real Madrid 1-1 Atletico: Ronaldo 48' RED CARD Pepe 82' - Godin 25'

Match Comments:

We went to the Bernabeu he good form, I would of taking a draw and the beginning of the game and thats what we got (Very Happy). Godin carried on his great scoring form with another header from anothe Gabi free kick but a Ronaldo thunder bolt from 30 yards brought Madrid level. Pepe got sent off late on but unfortunately we could not take advantage.

Celtic 1-0 Atletico: Boerrigter 44'

Match Comments:

Another poor performance in the Champions League, I was actually surprised how well Celtic played they really limited us to only a few chances. A mix up between goalkeeper and centre back saw Boerrigter tuck the ball away into a open net. Much improvement needed if we are to qualify for the round of 16, Dortmund at home are next BIG GAME (Must Win).

Atletico 1-2 Celta: Charles OG 50' - Angulo 53', Fernandez 83'

Match Comments:

Poor, Poor performance we had a lot of the ball but just did not create any chances, my strikers seem to be really struggling. After the Celta OG I thought we would push on but Celta put up a good fight and got a deserved 3 points. If we want to challenge the top two we cant afford to drops points like this at home.

Ninth League Game

Espanyol 1-3 Atletico: Sidnei 38' - Miranda 27', Adrain 39',72'

Match Comments:

A Big, Big Game here against tha team that is 3rd and my team stepped up to the plate with a great performance. I finally got a striker going with Adrain restoring our lead a minute after Espanyol leveled the game. Adrain sealed the 3 points with a great finish on the 72 min.

Atletico 1-0 Dortmund: Villa 17'

Match Comments:

Finally 3 points in the Champions League, my experinced striker Villa stepped up this game with a great near post finish. Dortmund had loads of great chances with a mixture of poor finishing and Courtois keeping Dortmund star studded team out and my team held on for the much needed points. This means there are 3 teams on 3 points in our group with Man United topping the group with 9 points.

Atletico 0-1 Betis: RED CARD Miranda 92' - Carlos 54'

Match Comments:

I don't have a clue what is going on with our HOME FORM. After the Dortmund win at HOME I thought this would be a easy 3 points. My strikers carried on struggling and we did not create any great chances. Im considering selling Costa because I just cant get him firing. Betis got the 3 points from a mistake from Courtois at a corner saw an easy header for Carlos go in. Miranada's red card at the end of the game summed up our performance. We need to pick it up!!!!

Tenth League Game

Granada 0-1 Atletico: Suarez 37'

Match Comments:

I much needed 3 points here but it was hard fought win Suarez gave us the lead with a great composed finish from a rebound of a corner. Granada pushed hard creating some great chances but credit to my team they held on.

MOTM: Gimenez (My young CB got his 1st start very impressed.
