Bertrand joins Everton

Everton FC are delighted to announce the signing of Ryan Bertrand from Chelsea FC. The deal is worth £7.25m and Bertrand has signed a contract that experies 2018 worth £46k a week. He will get the shirt number 3.

Bertrand has made two appearances for England's national team.

The englishman spoke to the press:

I´m very happy to be here. Everton is a great club and I think that I can get more matches here than in Chelsea. That was the biggest reason to why I´m moving, I want to play more games and win trophys. I think that I can do that here.

Diamé signs for Everotn

Everton FC are delighted to announce the signing of Mohamed Diamé from West Ham in a deal worth £3.5m. Diamé has signed a contract worth £44k a week that experies 2017.

Diamé has made 15 appearances for Senegal´s national team.

Speaking to the press Diamé said:

It´s a fantastic chance for me. Everton is a big club. I´m really happy to be here. This is another step in my football carrer.

The manager Roberto Martinez has also commented the transfer:

Diamé is a great player and I´m really happy that he wanted to join us. The transfer fee is very small for such a great player. We have made a good deal.

Phil has played great the whole pre-season. He has played six of seven games with an average rating of 7,53. He has scored one goal and he has been great in defence. He gives 100% in every game and that´s pays off. He has shown why he is captain.

Everton has announced three english signings.

The first one is 17 years old winger Connor Hunte. He signs on a free transfer after his depart from Chelsea in the beginning of the summer. Hunte has signed a contract worth £775 a week that experies 2016.

Martinez comment: Connor is a great english talent. I cant belive that Chelsea released him. He has the potential to be a really good player in the future and I´m glad the we could complete this transfer.

The second signing is also a very big talent. 17 years old Mason Bennett signs from Derby County for a fee of £600k. The contract ends 2016 and is worth £4,5k a week.

Martinez comment: I´m really happy that Mason wanted to join us. He´s has really big potential and I´m sure that he will be a really good player in the future.

The third signing is the third englishman. The Blackpool winger Tom Ince joins Everton in a deal worth £3.1m. Ince has signed a contract that ends in 2018 worth £40,5k a week.

Martinez comment: Tom Ince is a top class player with top class potential. He is one of the most talented english players and I´m really happy that he could join us.
