Everton made a substitution in the 88´ minute in the game against Swansea the 18th of august. Leon Osman got swapped out and in came the young midfielder Ryan Ledson. He has trained with the senior team the whole pre season and when he came in he became Everton´s youngest player ever. 15 years and 364 days old is about 200 days younger than Jose Baxter when made his debut for Everton in 2008.

The 19 years old forward from Argentina Luicano Vietto is joing the club from Racing Club in a deal worth £5.5m. Vietto has signed a contract that experies 2018 worth £15k a week.

He was presented at a press conferece where he said, among other things:

I´m really happy to be here. Everton is a fantastic club and Martinez is a fantastic manager. I think this is the perfect step in my carrer and I want to win many trophys with the club.

The new Everton coach Roberto Martinez has completed his first month in the english Premier League. It has been a pretty good first month for him with two wins and two draws. Everton are currently at 8th place in the league and they´ll face QPR in the next round of the Capital One Cup.

Robertos thoughts

It has been a quite good first month for us. We haven´t lost a single game yet and we´ve played good football. I think that if we continue like this our season will end very good.
