Genie Scout 2009 Bugs + Workarounds

i have the 1242 problem....how do i solve this ?

I've always used FM Genie to export a shortlist of a couple of thousand players which I then upload in FM so I can filter by whether they're interested in coming to my club.

Perhaps I'm being stupid, but I can only add players individually to the shortlist on this latest version. Is there any way I can do a search, and add all the results to a shortlist to export?

Can you use it for online games that i am playing in but soeone else is running?

I have a problem aswell, It worked on this save before but now it stops when on "Loading players" and then crashes.. Any info?

can everyone say which year they are on in the game when their tool crashes?

because it works FINE for me, no problem what so ever. but i havent gone past 2013.

i think if you play longer it starts to crash.

alrite guys i know that the problem occurs as the years go by in FM.

i havent heard anything from eugene about an update.

so either you have to start a new game again if you dont want to play a game without eugene.

if not, there are other tools like the Immuner scout tool, which works ingame but it works.

so im sorry you wont be able to use genie forever but there are the Immuner's tool you can use and try.

nothing we can do about the problem now if not eugene comes back.

I have the "1245" error. I tried a lot to bypass it: try to resign, retire, add new manager ... The interesting thing is that there are different causes for "1245" error, sometimes "non player data corrupt", sometimes "play injury data corrupt".

My game stops at Dec 2012. The weird thing is, I had a previous game which run to 2024 with no error. I'm using small database. The previous game has 10 leagues and the current dead one has 15 - so I do have more data now.

Very weird problem ... never had such a difficulty with all old FM versions.

Seems the only thing to do is to pray for the coming back of Eugene...

same error here but i have huge database and i'm only in 2010 is there a possible solution? or will i have to give up genie?
