Hello and welcome to my first story on Football Manager 2014 where I will be looking to take Merthyr Town from the Southern league D1 south and west (division 8) all the way up to the Barclays Premier League and try to make them one of the best teams in the World. Club History:
Merthyr Tydfil F.C. Was formed in 1945 and originally played in the welsh league however they began playing In the Southern League the following year. They gained promotion to the football conference in the season of 1988-89 however they were relegated back into the Southern league in 1995 where they remained until reforming in 2010.
