Pretty good results especially against United.
October 2013: The Results

Tottenham Hotspur 3 vs 1 AS Saint-Etienne
Europa League Group E
17' - Jermain Defoe [Tottenham Hotspur]
27' - Gylfi Sigurdsson [Tottenham Hotspur]
41' - Gylfi Sigurdsson [Tottenham Hotspur]
60' - Idriss Saadi [AS Saint-Etienne]
This was a great victory for us to put us top of our group with a 100% record. Saint-Etienne are the hardest team in our group and to beat them 3-1 is something I'm very happy with.

Tottenham Hotspur 3 vs 2 Southampton
Barclays Premier League
2' - Erik Lamela [Tottenham Hotspur]
31' - Roberto Soldado [Tottenham Hotspur]
55' - Jan Vertonghen [Tottenham Hotspur]
19' - Rickie Lambert [Southampton]
70' - Adam Lallana [Southampton]
Despite the tough-looking scoreline, I'm actually very impressed with the performance we put out there. Southampton are a tricky team to beat, and to score 3 goals against them is a pleasing achievement.

Stoke City 1 vs 3 Tottenham Hotspur
Barclays Premier League
1' - Jose Antonio Reyes [Tottenham Hotspur]
21' - Erik Lamela [Tottenham Hotspur]
65' - Jan Vertonghen [Tottenham Hotspur]
42' - Peter Crouch [Stoke City]
Again, another pleasing victory against a tough side when playing at home. It marked Reyes' first goal at Spurs as well, and Lamela and Vertonghen have both scored in 2 consecutive games, which is always good to see.

FK Austria Wien 1 vs 1 Tottenham Hotspur
Europa League Group E
56' - Kyle Walker [Tottenham Hotspur]
4' - Andreas Callab [FK Austria Wien]
To be honest, this was very disappointing. To have such a good run then to draw against a very mediocre Austria Wien side is disappointing to say the least. We didn't play as well as we have in previous games and it was a very even match when it should've been a walkover.

Tottenham Hotspur 0 vs 1 Hull City
Barclays Premier League
67' - Samba Diakité [Hull City]
An appalling defeat that I really don't want to go into.

Tottenham Hotspur 1 vs 0 Cardiff City
Capital One Cup 4th Round
36' - Aaron Lennon [Tottenham Hotspur]
Hallelujah! Back to winning ways! We're through to the fifth round of the Capital One Cup, where we're hosting... Manchester City. We can come in with a fighting spirit and I'll be happy whatever the result.
Player of the Month - Tottenham

Erik Lamela wasn't just a great goalscorer this month, with his 2 goals, but he was the glue of the team during the good and the bad and he's already showing great signs of becoming a Tottenham legend.
