October Update

Barclays Premier League

Watford 3-0 Arsenal
Forster-Caskey (pen 49)
Butterfield (82)
Jedvaj (90+3)

A great game for the team, Arsenal were top of the table at the time and two of their strikers, Fierro and Muriel were on blistering form. I still can't believe that I won, never mind that I kept a clean sheep. Butterfield got Man of the Match getting a goal and an assist.

Hull 0-1 Watford
Destro (88)

In my opinion, it was a really poor performance from the lads. Hull were sitting in 20th with no points, and I may of been all over them but it we couldn't finish, I had to wait till a late corner that hit Mattia Destro and went in. Hull's goalkeeper, Killian Dumont, got Man of the Match.

Watford 1-0 Stoke
Saidov (6)

Not the worst match, but not the best. We've played better, but in all fairness, Stoke were in great form, so I didn't expect an easy match! We did have the better of the possesion and chances, but it still only stayed at 1-0. Pavel Saidov, my 18 year old wonderkid, got Man of the Match, scoring the only goal.

Blackpool 0-3 Watford
Butterfield (25)
Rhodes (46, 87)

A good solid win, I never expected anything less than that against a Blackpool side who had only just been promoted for the Championship. Jordan Rhodes got Man of the Match for scoring two of the three goals.

Capital One Cup

Watford e4-3 Everton
Lleshi (10, 19)
Rhodes (27)
Duffy (120+1)
Smalling (33)
Hazard (48)
Dong-Won (52)

This game annoyed me so much! I came into the match expecting to walk over them after the last 4-0 win. I delivered at the start, being 3-1 up at Half-Time. But as you can see, it all went south. They scored two goals to equalise within 10 minutes. I thought that it was going to go to penalties, but Lleshi curled a corner into the box and Shane Duffy headed it in to score a really late winner. Julian Lleshi got Man of the Match for his two goals and assist.

Player of the Month

Apart from the Everton game, we have been so great defensively, getting only clean sheets in the Premier League. Daniel Ayala has been such a vital part of the current defence, he works so hard and barely makes mistakes. Hopefully, he can keep up this form for the rest of the season.

Opinions

It's been a great month for the club, sitting in 3rd, level with Arsenal on points. We've barely conceded goals, and we've not exactly been struggling to score. If we can keep it up all season, we'll have a great season. My defence have been great and so have my midfielder. I just feel that sometimes, my attack are really lacking, but I can't complain.

November

Great results and good to see you in third.
Good to see you in third and your doing well.
Bayern - Yeah, I've got City next month though!
Jason - Thanks, I'm going for a Europa League spot.
Well done for destroying Arsenal! Great update, I should be taking notes ;)
Alex - Any time ;)

November Update

Barclays Premier League

Cardiff 1-1 Watford
Walcott (36)
Wallace (35)

Disappointing. That's the word that I would use to describe this game. We were expected to win, we drew. Cardiff may have been only one place below us, but their team SUCKED. We should of been able to beat them with ease. But, life goes on. We have to take it on the chin and be glad we got at least a point. Cardiff's goalscorer, Wallace, won Man of the Match for his goal, which also came third in Goal of the Month.

Watford 1-0 West Ham
Ayala (88)

Another disappointing result but at least we got the job done! A late goal from star man, Daniel Ayala was the only difference this game. We need to start finishing better otherwise we're gonna start struggling. Right back and current Liverpool transfer target, Jack Hunt got Man of the Match.

Watford 2-1 Manchester City
Forster-Caskey (21)
Rhodes (52)
Martial (45+2)

Here it is! The gem of the three games, a win against Manchester City! We did it! The team played great to win, and it's not like they've become a bad team, with Anthony Martial and Christian Benteke up front. My main central midfielder, Jake Forster-Caskey got Man of the Match.

Once again, Daniel Ayala is Player of the Month! He's been faultless so far, putting in great performances, every game. He's a rock in defence and he's been more consistent than Pavel Saidov or Shane Duffy.

I think that it was another successful month, not as good as October, but I can't complain. I've noticed that I really need a goalscoring striker. We're struggling to score goals and most are coming from the midfield. January is coming up soon but I don't think that we have enough funds to buy someone. If I can sell who I want to however, I may be able to get one.

December

Again, a great update. Weird that your best result was against City xD But oh well. Good luck in December :)
yeah a bsolutely awesome update and well done in the league :)
Nice win vs City
Doing really well with Watford, you have a great team in your hands there :)
Alex - Yeah, but I ain't complaining
Jason - Thanks
Bayern - Still can't believe it!
NVD - Yeah, definitely!
Excellent couple of months and really good updates TK!
Nice results and great updates :)

but why do brighton always sell Forster caskey?!

Transfer News: Rowlands eyed-up by Hornets

19 Dec 2020

Liverpool Welsh Wonderkid, Stuart Rowlands has become one of Tyler Key’s transfer targets for Watford, coming into the January Transfer Window.

The 18 year old, was a youth of Wrexham, who are currently playing in the Sky Bet League 2, only to be bought by Liverpool the next season for an undisclosed fee. Since he joined, Rowlands has only played once for the senior team, but showed very good signs of promise in the reserves leagues.

With former star striker, Luis Suarez, getting into his mid-thirties now, Liverpool are desperate to keep hold of their gem. At the end of it all however, it could be Rowlands decision itself that decides his future. Whether he wants to remain in Merseyside, only time will tell, but Watford are reported to be keeping a close tab on him.

The only setback for Key seems to be his lack of funds, he recently told the press that he will more than likely, have to sell before he can buy, but there is multiple transfer listed players at the club and the Watford squad appears to have an abundance of Goalkeepers.
