Juan Mata picks up injury

Manchester United player, Juan Mata has suffered from a broken leg and may be out for 5-6 months.

In Manchester United's 1-1 draw with West Ham United, Spaniard Juan Mata suffered from a broken leg that could keep him out for 5-6 months.

The 25-year old was on the bad side of a challenge from West Ham defender, James Tomkins. Tomkins came in hard on Mata and snapped his leg. Many players turned away in horror and manager, Tyler Key revealed the full extent of his injury after the game,

"Yeah, it wasn't a nice challenge at all!"

"You have to feel sorry for Juan. He's a really hard working player and we don't know whether he is going to come back the same! As a team, we all wish him the best and hope for a speedy recovery!"

Manchester United's main cover will be Japanese star, Shinji Kagawa, but transfer speculation leaves his future at the club in doubt.
