Oliver Rolf Kahn, nicknamed "Der Titan", born 15 June 1969, is a former German football goalkeeper. He started his career in the Karlsruher SC Junior team in 1975. Twelve years later, Kahn made his debut match in the professional squad. In 1994, he was transferred to Bayern Munich for the fee of Deutsche Mark 4.6 million, where he played until the end of his career in 2008.
Kahn is one of the most successful German players in recent history, having won eight German championships, six German cups, the UEFA Cup in 1996, the UEFA Champions League and the Intercontinental Cup, both achieved in 2001. His individual contributions have earned him four consecutive UEFA Best European Goalkeeper awards, three IFFHS World's Best Goalkeeper awards, and two German Footballer of the Year trophies. At the 2002 FIFA World Cup, Kahn became the first and only goalkeeper in the tournament's history to win the Golden Ball.
From 1994 to 2006, Kahn was part of the German national team, in which he played as a starter after the retirement of Andreas Köpke. In the 2002 FIFA World Cup, the team reached the final. While Germany was several times derided for their poor performance, Kahn's prowess proved to be the deciding factor in several games up until the final, where Germany lost 0–2 to Brazil. He was named the tournament's best player and received the Golden Ball award.
First of all, I don't like Bayern Munchen. I hate Bayern Munchen. But, I can only show respect for a legend that Oliver was and is. So, knowing him as a football addict, I decided to write a story with Oliver having a new job, the Head Coach job. I want to make my Deutsch Titan a top Head Coach and I'm sure that I'll do that!
I wasn't decided about the league, to be honest. But, having to choice between Spain and England, I chosen England for sure, because having bad luck with my Sociedad save. Newcastle is probably the "second love of my life", after Lazio. I used to watch this team's matches since I was seven and I supported them along the time with no matter if they played on the nPower or Premier League. So, that's the story: a former German legend bringing a beautiful English team. What can be bad in that?
I'm very sad about losing the save at Sociedad but i'll try to do my best at Newcastle.
News soon, guys! Hope to see you people following me!
