Youngsters Bigirimana and Tavernier left Newcastle on loans

After Oliver Kahn's takeover, Newcastle is looking like a team who builds for future. This time, Kahn sent two of his youngsters on loan deals to gain experience. The first one, Gaël Bigirimana, left at AFC Bournemouth for an one year loan period. Same did James Tavernier, who left at Doncaster for one year also.

Gaël Bigirimana, born 22 October 1993, is a Burundian footballer who plays as a midfielder.

On 6 July 2012, Bigirimana signed for Premier League team Newcastle United. United's website confirmed Bigirimana had signed a five-year contract for an undisclosed fee, believed to be between £500,000 and £1,000,000. His competitive debut came on 23 August 2012, in Newcastle's 1–1 draw with Greek side Atromitos, in their UEFA Europa League Fourth Qualifying Round match, before making his home Premier League debut on 2 September 2012 in a 1–1 draw with Aston Villa as a substitute for the injured Danny Simpson. He scored his first professional goal on 3 December, with a sweet drive, completing a 3-0 win at home to Wigan Athletic, becoming the first Burundian to score in the Premier League.

In July 2013 he went on loan at Bournemouth, his salary contribution for a year of contract rumoured to be around £5.750 per week.

James Henry Tavernier, born 31 October 1991, is an English footballer who plays as a defender.

Tavernier moved to Newcastle United in 2008. He made his first team debut in a 2–0 defeat against Peterborough United in the League Cup on 22 September 2009.

In the 2010–11 season, he was given his first start in the 3–2 League Cup second round tie over Accrington Stanley in a team made up of youngsters and fringe players. He played in central defence and gave an impressive display. He made his Premier League debut for Newcastle as a substitute versus Reading.

In July 2013 he went on loan at Doncaster, his salary contribution for a year of contract rumoured to be around £2.300 per week.

"I have sent them out on loan because they needed first team experience. Even if they didn't moved to top teams, they can learn how to coordonate a team and to be leaders of a group!" declared Oliver Kahn.

Newcastle haven't bought any player since Kahn's takeover, but after Brendt's fallen deal they're rumoured to be interested in other youngsters moves.

Dortmund's offer for Santon snubbed

After rejecting bids from Arsenal and Tottenham for Davide Santon, Oliver Kahn snubbed a German team this time, Borussia Dortmund. They put on the table a £8.5M fee, but Newcastle are looking to want make people understand that their key players are not for sale for any money amount.

"I'm sure that's nothing personal between Oliver Kahn and Borussia Dortmund, he only wants to keep his best players at his club and I respect his decision." declared Dortmund's Head Coach Jurgen Klopp.

A crazy transfer period is announced around England, with names like Lucas Leiva (to City) and Blaise Matuidi (to Liverpool) being moved.
This is a great start to the story. I can't remember a Newcastle United save lasting all too long. Long may this one continue.

Jamesg237 Thanks. I like Newcastle and always when I started a save with them, starting with FM 11, it lasted a long time. So, I can hope for a long way here because I like Toon.

Tottenham's Villas Boas insists for Santon, Kahn rejects another offer

http://i.telegraph.co.uk/multimedia/archive/02372/avb_2372958b.jpg

"I have always wanted Santon this Summer but Kahn looks like a rock negociator for his key players."

These were Andre Villas Boas's words after Oliver Kahn snubbed another fee worth of £11M in excess for Davide Santon. Snubbing Arsenal, Dortmund and Tottenham twice, Kahn isn't looking like he wants to sell Santon neither this Summer nor in the Winter season.

"I attracted a lot of offers and I wanted to speak with mr. Kahn. He explained me that his goals at Newcastle are high so I decided that staying here is best for me." declared Santon.

Simeone's Tiote offer rejected

Oliver Kahn rejected an offer for Cheick Tiote, this time from Atletico de Madrid. Simeone wanted the 27 years old defensive midfielder, but, as always this Summer, Kahn isn't willing to listen to offers for his best players. The snubbed fee was about £7.75M in excess.

Cheick Ismaël Tioté, born 21 June 1986, is an Ivorian footballer who plays for Newcastle United and the Ivory Coast national team as a midfielder.

Tioté joined English Premier League side Newcastle United on 26 August 2010 for a fee of £3.5 million after he was granted a work permit. He made his debut on 18 September 2010 against Everton at Goodison Park. His debut was very successful – completing all of his 64 passes. He also made two interceptions, completed all five of his attempted tackles, and his only shot was on target. He started all of the Newcastle United's games, putting in strong performances against Manchester City and in the 2–1 away win over West Ham. Tioté received man of the match for his performance in the 1–0 away victory against Wigan Athletic.

He was sent off in 3rd Round FA Cup tie against Stevenage suffering a three match domestic ban, but scored a memorable first goal on his return, scoring a 25-yard volley for the late equaliser in a 4–4 draw against Arsenal, a game the Magpies trailed 0–4 at half time.

On 25 February 2011 Newcastle announced that Tioté had signed a new six-and-a-half-year contract to show his commitment to the club, keeping him at Newcastle until 2017. Upon signing his new deal, Tioté said 'The experience of playing in the Premier League has been better than I ever hoped it could be. This is a great club and the fans have been brilliant – I have never known support like it.'

After two seasons at Newcastle, Tioté picked up 25 yellow cards from 50 league games, a return of one yellow card every two games, but only received one, controversial red against local rivals Sunderland. He was sent off in Newcastle's 1–1 draw away to Sunderland on 21 October 2012 for a late challenge on Sunderland's Steven Fletcher.

On 12 August 2009, Tioté made his international debut for the Ivory Coast in a friendly match against Tunisia. He was selected in the Ivory Coast's squad for the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations squad and given the squad number 9. He started in all three of Les Éléphants' matches before their quarter final elimination by Algeria. Tioté also started each of the Ivory Coast's 2010 FIFA World Cup matches in South Africa. However, the team did not advance to the second round. On 13 January 2012, Tioté was sent off for a "crazy challenge" in an 2012 Africa Cup of Nations warm up match against Tunisia. However, he was in the starting line-up for the Ivory Coast's opening two group matches and both the semi final and final, in which he scored the team's first kick in the penalty shootout defeat to Zambia. The following year, at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, Tioté scored his first international goal in the 50th minute of their 2–1 quarterfinal loss to Nigeria.

Simeone is feeling sad about the rejected offer

"I needed Cheick, he is a top player and missing him is a worry for our squad. Anyway, we knew that Newcastle's board are top negociators and losing him is not a very big dissapointment." declared Diego Simeone after he was snubbed by Oliver Kahn.

Also, Cheick Tiote declared exclussively for BBC Sport: "Honestly, I haven't ever wanted to leave Newcastle since I came here and especially not now, when our goals are high. I want to make myself knew in Premier League as a very good player and not to leave Newcastle soon.".

Santon's transfer turned into a real TV Series story this Summer. The second offer from Arsenal and the fourth in total for Santon was snubbed again by Oliver Kahn. Rumours are saying that Arsenal put on a fee of £12M for the Italian winger.

"I don't think we'll insist for Santon anymore. Kahn and Mike Ashley are not likely to sell him so these talks don't look like can come to a sense. We should look elsewhere." declared Arsene Wenger in his press conference.

Sporting's André Carrillo arrived in England

Bad luck to be stopped by Newcastle? After Julian Brandt deal falling, Newcastle are in talks with the 22 years old winger André Carrillo. He arrived in England at negociations with his agents who owns 70% of Carillo.

"If everything will be good he'll sign the deal. It will be a great move for us if it's gonna be granded." declared Oliver Kahn.

André Martín Carrillo Díaz (born 14 June 1991) is a Peruvian footballer who plays in the Primeira Liga for Sporting Clube de Portugal. He plays primarily as a winger or a second striker.

He began his senior career in 2009 with Peruvian side Alianza Lima, and in May 2011 he was signed by Sporting Clube de Portugal for a reported 1.5 million euros. He is also a member of the Peru national team, making his senior debut in 2011.

On 6 May 2011 it was reported that Carrillo signed a 5-year contract with Sporting Clube de Portugal. He was quickly included in the first team and was an unused substitute for the league games in round 2 and 3. Then in matchday 5 and playing from the start, Carrillo made his Primeira Liga debut on 19 September 2011 in Sporting's 2–3 away win over Rio Ave FC. He was in the starting line-up again in his second match and provided his first assist in his side's 3–0 win over Vitória Setúbal. Later he provided two assists in Sporting's 6–1 victory over Gil Vicente. Then in his 11th match Carrillo scored his first league goal in the 74th minute, but it was not enough to avoid a 2–1 away defeat to Braga.

In March 2011 he was called up by Sergio Markarián for Peru's game against Ecuador in which he was an unused sub. In May 2011 he was called up to play in the Kirin Cup.

When we'll have the official move perfected we'll publish more news.
It's a real shame not to sign Brandt but Carrillo should be a great addition if he signs :)

P-KIDDY Yeah, it really is about Brandt deal. Hope I'll sign Carrillo.

Another fallen deal - André Carrillo

http://www.supersporting.net/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/Andr%C3%A9-Carrillo.jpg

Seems like God doesn't want Newcastle to buy a winger. After Brandt's exchange with Marveaux was a broken deal, now financial demands of Carrillo's agent made Newcastle to withdraw the deal. Sporting initially accepted the fee of about £3M for Carrillo, but the player's agent wanted a personal fee of £8.5M, amount of money that Newcastle's chairman considered to be "abusive and a funny one too".

"The player isn't the luckiest player in the world, even with his qualities. His agent looks like he doesn't know what he's doing after wanting £8.5M for a personal fee. We'll look for another winger, that's sure." declared Oliver Kahn.

"I own 70% of the player and is my right to want this amount of money. Any club who'll pay me £8.5M will have André." said Carrillo's agent Carlos Ruiz.
Unlucky, the Portuguese League is filled with agent owned players :(
