Unbeaten for quite a while there, keep it up!

Second season

Well after a very hard fought first season, obscure Ordino the least recognised club in Andorra is preparing for an assault on the league.

So lets talk about the signings, first a lot of youngsters have been committed to non contracts, we have signed loanee Goalkeeper Friday Goldswill on a permanent deal.



We also brought in a 16 year old striker Claudio Garcia de la Vega who since the start of the season has picked up 2 under 21 caps from Andorra



Ignacio San Miguel Cobo is another 16 year old who joined us in the summer and joined the De La Vega in the under 21 squad, since joining although he hasn't made his competitive debut yet.

So we finished unbeaten in 7 which does stand us in good stead considering there's only 8 teams that meant from the thrashings we took in the first half of season the lessons were being learnt so here's how the first 5 games and the friendlies went.

5-2 win against CO Castelnaudary



3-1 win against FC Palmiers



2-1 win against Ille sur Tet FC



2-0 win against Andorra C.F




League Games

0-0 away to Lusitans
So last year at Lusitans we lost 3-1 and 7-0 and gained a 2-2 later on in the season this was not an easy game. We managed to draw with 9 men on the pitch and keep unbeaten for 8 games!



3-1 home win against Inter d'Escaldes

Well we truly run rampant with our new young striker Claudio Garcia De La Vega grabbing a brace.



3-1 away win against Encamp

We played very well, we retained the ball very well, Amando Marcen took Man of the Match with a goal and an assist.





2-1 loss at home to Sant Julia

So game 10 on the unbeaten run was a step too far against one of the title favourites, its a shame we played extremely well and the ball retention has been one of our strengths. Its hopefully just a blip this season.



4-1 Home win against Principat

Principat have started well, and a 4-1 win was not expected whatsoever, Once again De La Vega put in another impressive performance and his pace certainly tests defences in the Andorran league and at just 16 hopefully this will be someone I see in my journeys reach the international stage.

ORDINO WON THE LEAGUE AND CUP DOUBLE

2-0 win vs Extremenya



2-0 Away Win vs U.E. Santa Coloma




This form proceeded to the League form

We beat U.E. Santa Coloma again 3-2 at home




A 2-1 win against U.E' s bitter rivals F.C Santa Coloma




Back to the Cups a mixed result in the cups won one Quarter final lost one

An extra time win in the 95th minute after a last minute equaliser 3-2 against Principat




Battered by the then bottom of the league team F.C Santa Coloma 1-4



So it was a shame but we still had a cup run too!!

It could have been argued the Boys were affected by this against Lusitans and lost 3-1



Then struggled to keep Encamp out and a 89th minute og mind you this was our bad patch and it was 3 games hardly a ruined season haha



We fall 2-0 down against Inter D'Escaldes we looked down and out but the ref gave a penalty two minutes later we take the chance to be a goal down at half time. Rallied the boys and sent them out and we smash the doors all the way to 80 mins with no avail but then Marcen picks up a second and a 91st minute winner by Fuentes. Brings us into the title race and leading




Super Cup Semi Final !

That result was the change we needed and we started heading into the semi final full of confidence. 5-2 away win at Sant Julia we didnt care how we didnt have the best of possession but we took our chances !



We followed this up with another 3-2 win at Sant Julia



We looked good solid, brilliant even well here comes the nail biter a 1-0 loss to Principat the boys were down and we could have gone clear of the pack with 2 games to go




With the pressure on the cup final on the horizon we had the first of the Santa Coloma clubs. FC Santa Coloma put up battling performance but they succumbed to a single goal. Refief and now the Cup Final to enjoy

This was such a nervy game both teams on 26 points we were top from first game result. So heres the game it was a battle, although we took an early lead we headed into half time 2-1 down and second but boy did they come back with a vengeance. our player of the season 17 year old Garcia De La Vega had the equaliser and the title in the bag.
