Unleashing the Hammers

After winning the premier division with Newcastle and then Everton, I have decided to try and give West Hams loyal fans something to cheer about!

http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/legacy/thereporters/mihirbose/westham438pa.jpg

So hows the preseason gone?

Not very well so first of all I found out they had no budget, not bad but to push for Europe I thought I'd struggle so I released all the loan signings and freed over £200k in wages

And can announce several signings to strengthen the team

Friendlies have not exactly gone well but we have struggled to build form but its going well

So where do I think West Ham will gain some improvements?

Ravel Morrison

Obviously a talent, will be playing as a Shadow Striker to get in the box very much like Ross Barkley for my Everton and Newcastle tactics.

Defence

They have very solid defenders and this with Noble and Diame behind Morrison should contain all but the best Attacks in the league.

Attacking Midfielders

There is potential with Downing, Jarvis, Cole, Morrison to play as Inside Forwards and Wingers. Whether this works well with Peter Crouch as a Target Man/Deep Lying Forward; I am unsure but it will take time.

Some great results there apart from the Newcastle result. Also some decent, solid signings. I personally think Crouch will be banging in the goals for you!

That was a rough second month.

You putting all the good stuff in spoiler tags almost made me miss an interesting looking story.

    Keep it up,

Yeah the reason for the spoiler was that each update nearly took a page up so I put spoilers into make it more succinct. I do apologise.
Very tough month there but at least you've got those games out of the way now!
Yeah hoping the Squads now bedded in I have a chance to climb the table.

Hoping to get some Player interviews in over the next few updates

Andy Carroll has set his sights on earning a place in England's World Cup squad, as the West Ham United striker continues his rehabilitation from a heel injury.
The 24-year-old, who has two goals in his nine England games, has spent the past three weeks at the Move to Cure clinic in Antwerp, working alongside the therapist Lieven Maesschalck after suffering a serious plantar fascia injury on the final day of last season.

Carroll, who watched West Ham's 3-1 home defeat to Liverpool on Saturday before going back to Belgium, is optimistic of a return soon. "I've just got to get back and play for West Ham and score some goals and force myself back into the England squad," Carroll, who last played for Roy Hodgson's side against San Marino in October last year, told West Ham TV.

"For now I'm back off to Belgium and it all starts again for another week. I'm doing well over in Belgium and I'm enjoying working out there with Lieven and it's going great. I'm working hard every day and if I keep doing that then it shouldn't be too much longer. I've kicked on a bit from when I first went over there. I was in a boot and on crutches, but it's obviously feeling a lot better and I'm starting to do heavier work, rather than just balancing.

"I'm starting to use weights and squatting a bit more, which is putting more pressure on my foot, which is a positive. Lieven has done a lot of things and had good things said about him, so it's brilliant for me to be working with someone like that. Hopefully, he can do with me the same as he has done with everyone else."

    No need to apologise.

Can I ask why you have Stig Tøfting as your avatar? ;)
My nickname I was in school at the time of 2002 world cup I lost my pace and all i was good for was running around kicking shins instead of footballs haha. Hence Stig Tofting lol
Nice interview mate, but truly terrible results last month. The schedule kinda screwed you over though, so hopefully the next month will be a bit easier! :)

I can't lie the interview is an actual Andy Carroll interview in the Guardian around that time in the season but we lost to Liverpool at home 3-1 instead of Manchester City irl
