I will be taking the role of Arsène Wenger at Arsenal and I hope that I bring many more successes to this huge club.
Arsenal have confirmed that manager Arsène Wenger has signed a new 4-year contract worth 6,000,000 per annum. The board are delighted about Wenger's loyalty and passion for the club, as they hope he will stay at Arsenal until he retires.

A press conference was held after the renewal of Wenger's contract. The journalists and the fans were extremely excited about listening to the manager's future plans and how he will be handling the squad. The fans hope that Wenger breaks the bad luck chain that has been around Arsenal's neck for around 9 years and wins a trophy soon.

Ryo Miyaichi (Up) and Park Chu-Young (Down) to both depart Arsenal, confirms Wenger.

According to Sky Sports Wenger has described has strong unwillingness to keep Ryo and Park at the club.

"They are wasting the club's wages and I don't even need them anymore. We have other quality players playing at their positions. Plus, they aren't progressing well in training. I do believe there is more to come from them, but it's not enough for playing at Arsenal. We are trying to find them clubs to play at at the moment. However, if we fail to do so, we'll just have to terminate their contracts"

When Park was asked about the boss's decision to kick him out, he replied:

"It's a huge disappointment for me of course, but there's nothing I can do about it. I feel that I can play at an acceptable level this season, but I guess Wenger doesn't see that I would potentially play good in the upcoming season. Terminating a player's contact is so unprofessional, and I won't ever forgive Wenger if he does so."

And when Sky Sports spoke to Ryo, he said:

"You see, I'm still a young player and I'm still learning and developing. If Wenger doesn't think I'd be a quality player later on, then it's his own loss. I have nothing else to state about this issue and I won't be answering any more questions."
How much do you think you'll get for these players? Tip: Use a smaller picture for the Wenger one, looks fookin' huge!

Arsenal announce departure of Miyaichi and Chu-Young

This morning, Arsenal have announced the departure of both Miyaichi and Chu-Young to AS Monaco for €5m each. The board and the fans alike are delighted with the club's healthy profit of €10m.

Arsene Wenger pleased with the €10m profit

"I am absolutely pleased with the €10m profit we received from Monaco. I now have €55m to play around with in the transfer market, and I certainly will be aiming to bring new faces in. First, I'll be targeting Columbia and River central defender Éder Álvarez Balanta. Although he is still young and inexperienced, he has the potential to be a quality player. Next, I'll be looking to bring in 20-year-old German goalkeeper Timo Horn. I have watched several games of him, and I can see that, despite his young age, he has already learned and developed a lot. Horn is definitely one for the future. Next, another player who has been on my radar for quite a while now, Julian Brandt. He's another young player that has great potential ability. I'll start negotiations with Wolfsburg soon, as I don't want any other club but Arsenal to sign him. Last but not least, I'll do whatever I can to bring in Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin."

Arsenal Complete the Signings of Their Four Targets

Éder Álvarez Balanta, Timo Horn, Julian Brandt, and Morgan Schneiderlin have all joined Arsenal this afternoon. Reportedly, the quadruple emptied Arsenal's €55m transfer budget, and not a single penny remains. It is said that Schneiderlin's transfer from Southampton was the most expensive, costing the club €18m. While Balanta and Brandt's transfer costed €15m each, with the remaining €7m spent on Timo Horn's transfer from FC Köln.

Press Conference

Journalist: "Good afternoon Mr. Wenger. I hope your day is going good. My question is: after bloating every position with several players, how will you be managing your squad? Will you be offloading players?"

Wenger: "I don't think the squad is really overloaded. The new comers are youngsters, so they won't expect that much playing time. For the goalkeeper position, Szczęsny remains my first choice, with Fabianski and Viviano his backups. Horn will go on loan to Newcastle United for a season long. As for the defense, Balanta is still young and hence will have a rotational role at the club. Ramsey and Schneiderlin will both get an equal and acceptable amount of time on the pitch. Wilshere, Brandt, and Chamberlain will constantly switch with Walcott, Rosicky, and Cazorla to get their needed amount of time. Özil however, will only switch when he is fatigued or not fit, as he is a key player in the squad. Finally, for the striker position Podolski and Giroud will be switching as well, with the one who proves he is better getting the more playing time.”

Journalist: “You must be hoping that the new players can bring success to Arsenal. Are you willing to finally win a trophy after this nine-year trophy drought?”

Wenger: “That is definitely what I have been trying to do for the past seasons. This season, however, I’m confident that we’ll win a trophy.”

Journalist: “Thank you for answering my questions and good luck for the upcoming season."

Wenger Optimistic About First BPL Match of the Season

The Gunners will face Cardiff City in the first match BPL match of the 2013/2014 season. The boss is optimistic and feels his team will get a good result.

“The team have finished their training session and things are looking good. They are confident, motivated, and excited about the match. Giroud has been particularly working hard and I expect him to have an influence on the match next Saturday."
Good start buddy, good graphics! could do with maybe a bit more descriptions, but really well done!
A nice start there :D
Maybe a bit more description would make this even better! Otherwise cant really find faults :)

Wenger Leads Arsenal to Victory in their First Competitive Match of the Season

"The squad is happy for the win and so am I. It's always great to earn some points in the first match of the league, it gives the players a huge morale and confidence boost. I was pleased by the performance of several players, such as Giroud, Özil, and Schneiderlin. I had faith in Giroud and believed that he would score and he did. I wasn't expecting such a wonderful performance from Schneiderlin on his debut, and even though his goal was a penalty, he still scored. Özil and Balanta also played very well. Özil misplaced only 4 out of his 118 passes today. He also set up many attacks and I'm pleased with his efforts. Balanta barely let his marker touch the ball today. He was just too strong, too concentrated, and too cunning. Nonetheless I'm very happy with everyone's performance today and I hope we'll perform the same in the next match."
Hey I'm also doing an Arsenal Story and I just started today I really think yours is great quite a bit above mine but still its my 2nd story mode. Though if you could please leave a comment and my poll that would be great http://www.fmscout.com/q-12333-Wenger-finally-goes.html#170850
Great start!
Good start, keep it up and most importantly, have fun!
