Arnold Leaves for Leverkusen

Maximilian Arnold has today left the club for a fee of 9 million pounds to Opposing German side Bayer Leverkusen. The young German has been at our club for four years but has now left to try and better his career elsewhere. Many believe the youngster decision was pushed forward by the arrival of Belgian Kevin de Bruyne.

Arnold joins a leverkusen side undergoing major renovation with new manager Sasacha Lewandowski making ll the headlines because of his rather controversial transfers so far whilst he has been in charge. We here at Wolfsburg would like to thank Arnold for his services to the club and hope he goes on to make more of his career that he sadly was no able to do here at the Volkswagen Arena.

Shaky pre-season! Some good resluts and some pretty poor ones against United etc... Good luck for the start of the season!
Aaron - Thank you for the comment and yeah it was, Im hoping to bring in some new faces to strengthen the squad to a good level, I think the loss of bender will be hard to replace
poor pre-season think you might need a new defence lol
Lisbon - Nah dont think so, they are actually quite good, Dont know what happened.
good start mate! will be following
James - It wasnt the best but it wasnt the worst, Thanks for the comment.

Castro leaves for Schalke.

Today German rivals Schalke have captured the signature of Bayer Leverkusens Gonzalo Castro. The German right midfielder has become the third departure under Sascha Lewandowski and was reportedly very saddened to depart the club. Castro has left the club for a fee of 8 million pounds and said he is looking forward to his new venture at Schalke.

"I am happy to be going to such a great club like Schalke and i think i can push on in my career to possibly help Schalke gain success once again in the league and the Champions League." Clearly Castro is happy about playing for a team like Schalke and thinks he will be able to bring success to his career which he has not been able to achieve here in Leverkusen. The general perception on Castro's sale was good that we managed to get so much money for him,but many fans also now worry that Sascha Lewandowski may be altering the squad too much which they believe will be disrupting the chemistry that the squad had created over the years.
You had a good preparation period, pity the game against UTD! I wish you good luck!
Bebero - Yeah man, Thanks!

Two Deadline Day Deals In leverkusen

Pereyra Playing For Udinese

Fans who were worried that Leverkusenwere running out of time to replace there departures this season can put their mind to rest as Sascha Lewandowski has pulled two Signings Out of the bag. The german has signed Roberto Pereyra from Udinese and Marcos Rojo from Sporting. The pair come in for fees of 8.5 and 1.7 million pounds.

Pereyra, an Argentine central midfielder whom has ensured the club will have enough depth in midfield. Pereyra who is regarded as an extremely talented prospect in the world of football will be looking to expand his knowledge of the game with this move. The player will be looking to replace the likes of Lars Bender who left for tottenham earlier in the window.

On the other hand Rojo who is a Central defender has clearly been brought in for back up but in a statement he released via his agent suggest the Argentine is thinking otherwise, "I am very happy to get a move to the club and i am looking to announce my stance in the club by putting in good performances which will hopefully give me a solid starting place in the squad."

On a poll held on our website has revealed that the majority of the voters believe that Pereyra will be more effective signing but the true answer will be unveiled as the season goes on. Keep looking at Website for all your Bundesliga news and transfer updates!
