WHY MANCHESTER UNITED

Man Utd are a club I have always followed since they won the Champions League on that memberal night in Munich.

Since Sir Alex Ferguson left and the failure under David Moyes, I want to be able to bring back the 'glory days' that made United such a formidable force. This was mainly during the time of United Legend, Sir Alex. His United side wrote History several times, including seeing United go on and win the first 'treble' of the twentieth century when they picked up the Champions League, Premiership title and FA Cup. They also became the first British Club to ever win the Premiership three years running and manage it twice the first spell was 1998-2001 then again in 2006-2009 under Sir Alex. Sir Alex also went on to win the top league title no less than 13 times, 5 FA Cup wins, 4 league cup wins, community shield 10 times, champions league twice, as well as the european super cup in 1991 and the club world cup in 2008.

To be continued:
WHO AM I?

I will be taking on the role of current Peterbrough manager and Sir Alex Ferguson's son, Darren Ferguson.

Ferguson jr has often scrutinized during his years in football by the media, especially during his years as Preston Manager. Stories often arose, claiming players were unsettled, with some British tabloids claiming that the players had started to 'revolt' against the Scottish boss. Although these 'rumours' were later put to rest by several Preston players, it was always going to be a long and painful first year for him after taking over from his dad Sir Alex.

His journey was made even more difficult after falling to relagation last year with his beloved Peterbrough United.

At 42 years of age, Ferguson is currently one of the most wanted young managers in the lower leagues.

I TURNED DOWN MANY TO JOIN THE ONE!!
http://i1087.photobucket.com/albums/j470/AdamFinchale/MANUDARREN.jpg

In an exclusive interview with The Sun, United manager, Darren Ferguson claims that he turned down a plethora of clubs to go to Manchester.

The Scottish Boss, spoke to a journalist about how several other English clubs had enquired about his availability.

After the departure of former Rangers captain, rumours were that Blackpool were ready to raid Peterbrough for they next manager who was also believed to be in talks with Norwich City, Tottenham, West Brom and Brighton.

"No. They were purely rumours made up from the press. They never got in contact with me or my agent, or even Darren [MacAnthony]. It is nice to hear the press linking me to big clubs because it means that I am doing something right but to follow in my dads footsteps is a dream come true"
Good luck mate!

Youtube Interview: #DazFergie

http://i1087.photobucket.com/albums/j470/AdamFinchale/mutvpresscon.jpg

Earlier today, United coach, Darren Ferguson got in touch with his softer side after speaking to MUTV.

The club, who are very active on their social media platforms, took questions for the Scottish boss via Twitter and Facebook using the hash tag #DazFergie. The Q&A seemed very popular with the United supporters with more than 100,000 questions flooding in.

The session was presented by MUTV host and former United player, Peter Schmeichel.

--

Peter: Hello, Darren. Thank you for taking time out from training to answer the questions, we know that you have a busy few weeks ahead of you, so we’ll try not to keep you long.

Darren: [Laugh] No problem.

Peter: Our first question for you, comes from Dan. Dan wants to know – “A lot of money has been wasted thus far. What are the expectations around the club and will there be any more
new arrivals?”

Darren: Squads can always be improved, so there is a possibility of some new faces, definitely. In terms of expectations, I think everyone is excited to be back, everyone’s raring to go ahead of the new season. Our main objective is going to be to win the league, as well as looking to secure another trophy or two.

Peter: Our next question comes all the way from China; Win Dong-Won asks – “When you’re picking the team, do you take into account previous matches and how well they performed?”

Darren: Yes, it is one of the most important things we look at. When you are playing a game, and one of your players played well in the previous fixture, then we will take it into account. We also have to look at how they’ve been in training, how they’re feeling in themselves.

Peter: Famous singer, and Red Devil fan, Justin Timberlake would like to know who you feel is the best player that you have worked with.

Darren: This is a tough one. I have only been managing a few years, but already I have had the pleasure to work with some of the best players in the Football League. I had the pleasure to work with George [Boyd], Craig [Mackail-Smith] and Joe [Lewis] during my days at Peterbrough. Here in Manchester I have met some great players in Robin [Van Persie], who joined us from the gunners wanting trophies, as well as fellow scot Darren [Fletcher] who I believe is currently the best scottish player. I have some new faces too, such as Wilfi [Zaha], Juan [Mata] and Schreach [Fellaini] who all have the potential to be great, great players.

Peter: One, final “question”, which comes in from the Twitter user TheGreatDane [Laughing]. Dane wants to know, do you think you can complete the cinnamon challenge?

Darren: [Laughing] … Maybe another video?

Peter: Right, well, Darren. I think that’s all we have time for here at MUTV. Thank you for sending in your Twitter questions and we hope you’ve had a great time. Next time, send us in your dares and we’ll see if Darren here, or even a United player, can complete them.

UNITED LEGEND HAS A CHANGE IN HEART
http://i1087.photobucket.com/albums/j470/AdamFinchale/ferdinand.jpg

Man U have confirmed that Rio Ferdinand has had a change of heart and is thinking about extending his current contract at the club.

Skipper, Rio Ferdinand in currently considering a new one year deal with the possibly of extending it again at the end of the season.

Ferdinand has been an integral part of United's defense since his record signing in 2002. During his time at the club, he has so far managed to be voted in Team of the Year by the Professional Footballers' Association no less than 6 times most recently in 2012-13.

Rio was bought to United from Leeds, for a record fee at the time for a defender of £30M.

Rio, who was born in Denmark Hill, London has had a mixed time at United in recent years. Often known for his great pace and world class tackling, he has enjoyed some great games for United, including scoring his first goal for England since joining the club in a game against Denmark in 2002, scoring a header from a corner at the 2002 World Cup.

Lindegaard sold and Bebe Loaned out by United

Manchester United have confirmed the departures of Danish Goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard and Portuguese winger Bebe.

Ander Lindegaard, who arrived at the club in 2010 from Aalesund for a fee of £4.4m has left for fellow Premier League club, Sunderland.

It is believed that the black cats have paid in the region of £2.2m for the 29 year old. Sunderland manager, Gus Poyet believes that it is somewhat of a coup for the club considering the club that Anders' coming from.

http://i1087.photobucket.com/albums/j470/AdamFinchale/lindegaar.jpg

Despite some incredible shot stopping and saves during his time at United, he is leaving as United are looking for top quality backup in players.

Recent Rumours have linked the Red Devils with current Genoa 1st choice Goalie Mattia Perin, Hannover's Number 1 Ron-Robert Zieler and the man between the sticks for Norwich City, John Ruddy.

http://i1087.photobucket.com/albums/j470/AdamFinchale/bebe.jpg
Good Riddance: Bebe has left for Burnley

Bebe will also be looking to revive his career after United confirmed his loan deal to premier new boys Burnley

Often criticized by many as being ‘lazy’, Bebe will hope to prove his doubters wrong. The winger signed for United permanently in 2010, but only managed 2 games for the Red Devils, which saw him perform very poorly.

Bought from Vit. Guimaraes for a fee of £7.5m, Darren will be happy to see the winger leave. During the 12/13 season, Bebe only managed to score 1 goal in 17 apperances whilst on loan at Rio Ave, something which many feel didn’t justify his price tag.

The sale of Bebe has now caused speculation over who will replace him, with bookies taking money on Adam Lallana, Cristian Tello, Tom Ince and Highly rated Julian Draxler.
Sorry to call it out like this mate, but since you aren't on chat... these are more or less exact copies of Nick's Tottenham story, with a few words changed here and there. Sure you've done a bit of research for the fees etc. but the writer took a lot of his own time to write this, and it's been copied here without a second thought. Now, I hope that this won't put you off of story writing, since I'm sure you have a lot of promise, but a lot more people will want to read your story if it is different to others on the site.

Darren Ferguson spoken to MUTV just before the game against FC Kobenhavn to let the fans know the squad which he has chosen to represent Manchester United in his first game in charge

http://i1087.photobucket.com/albums/j470/AdamFinchale/FCKoslashbenhavnvManUtd_AwayTeamSelectionOverview.png

I have chose to go with 2 completely different teams for either half of the game so fans will be pleased to be able to get the chance to see summer signings Martin Montaya and Julian Draxler in the first half who will be coming off at half time to be replaced by Sebastian Jung and Adnan Januzaj and in the second half fans are going to have the chance to see no less than 8 new summer signings

To wrap this meeting up I would like to let fans know that we are in talks to sell Rafael for the reported £35m fee to Paris which is the reason behind him not playing today and we would also like to welcome new signings Julian Draxler and Martin Montaya into the team
