a change was needed, fresh ideas and Arran Pugh in the perfect man to lead Truro further up the English tiers.

good luck for the upcoming season

Sad to see an era end at Truro, but I'm sure Pugh can step up and become just as good a captain as Yetton was

I hope Pugh can do as good as job as Yetton did!

St Austell Brewery To Sponsor Truro

http://s105.photobucket.com/user/chrisgriffin89/media/st-austell-brewery_zps59be3278.jpg.html

On the back of the announcement of Truro City turning professional, the club has secured a new sponsor heading into their first season in the Sky Bet League 2.

St Austell Brewery will take over as the main kit sponsor from Truro College after Truro College announced that they would not continue on as the clubs main sponsor. St Austell Brewery was founded in 1851 and since then has become an iconic brand to the county of Cornwall.
Some big developments made in the last few updates, glad to see it! :D

Truro City Reveal New Kits

On the back of their recent promotion to the Sky Bet League 2, Truro City has released new kits ahead of the 2017/18 season.

The kits were created by a Dutch designer and produced by Nike, they will remain the clubs kit for the foreseeable future.

Home Kit

The red and black stripes are Truro City’s original kit. The club returned to using these colours as the home kit when they marked the clubs 125th anniversary and have retained the colours since.

Away Kit

The colours used on the away kit were the colours used as the clubs home kit from 2004 to 2013. In that period Truro won the FA Vase in 2007 and made their first appearance in the Skrill South in 2011.

Third Kit

The third kit once again is designed with the colour scheme from 2004 to 2013 in mind. The design was based upon Hull City’s kit from their 2009-10 season.

Truro head into the new season with 20 players in their squad, giving them the depth they have needed for numerous seasons. New chairman David Cardoza has put all funds into the wage bill in order to create a bigger squad, allowing the side to be fresher going into games.

Noted signings include ex-Manchester City player Kelvin Etuhu and Chez Isaac who has performed terrifically for Braintree during the past four seasons. Aiden O’Brien is the man who has been chosen to take over from Stewart Yetton up-front. The English born striker played three games for the Irish U21’s side scoring twice.

Only one surprise with the players who left the club, winger Nathan Thomas who scored 11 goals in 46 appearances producing 16 assists left the club after a disagreement with the manager over the direction of the club.

Truro increased the strength of their pre-season schedule and it proved ineffective. They played Sky Bet League 2 rivals Torquay, Plymouth & Exeter losing to all three, showing just how difficult of a task the side faces this season.
Some tough results to take against your new league opponents but a tweak here and there cna change that come the start of the season mate, that's what friendlies are for.
