I know how hard it is as I have been Arsenal before in a cup final and I NEARLY got embarrassed by Bolton. It took a late goal to come back from 2-0 down to win 3-2.

Thank you I try I couple of slips I felt, even though we won the Capital One cup, we should of picked up points against West Ham and Hull It's a tough season and very close in the top 3 xD

Yeah we barely won that match I believe. Everton were dominating us however we got a cheeky counter attack with Oliver Giroud finding the back of the net I think the 'Important Matches' attribute is low on young players because Arsenal have a very young squad, thanks for the comment.

All eyes will be on the Emirates Stadium this weekend as Champions League quarter-finalists Arsenal battle for the Premier League championship. Arsenal are only a win away from becoming the victors of this seasons Premier League title and will take the title win over Chelsea. Chelsea will top the Premier League table if they were to beat Arsenal.

Elsewhere FA Cup semi-finalists Aston Villa face oil-rich Manchester City at Villa Park. Manchester City will secure a Champions League spot if they manage to defeat Aston Villa. Aston Villa could tumble down the table next to bitter rivals West Brom.

Out-of-form Sunderland challenge Cardiff City at The Stadium Of Light. Cardiff will secure there place in the Premier League next season if victorious against Sunderland. Sunderland however, are already relegated from the Premier Division and must look to give their fans at least a small reason to smile by playing for pride.

After a long and successful spell at Arsenal, Louis Basham has decided to retire from the Football Association as Premier League champion.


This retirement is surprising and unexpected, the 26-year-old newcomer walked into Arsene Wenger's shoes back in July 2013 and achieved fantastic things for the club. On his first season managing a team, he captured the Capital One cup with a narrow 1-0 win over Everton in the final. He scored a total of a magnificent 149 goals this season and only conceding 59.

Louis Basham was very vacated in press-conferences as the press were more used to seeing his assistant manager - Steve Bould. Basham's Arsenal side had a win percentage of 68% throughout this season. Arsenal chief's supposedly offered Basham a contract of £130,000 a week to continue his spell at Arsenal, but Basham declined.

At the beginning of the season, Basham said assertively: "This Could Be The Year" and people laughed and doubted the new manager. Basham is the only one laughing now.
