BREAKING NEWS

It looks like the Newcastle chairman Mike Ashley has finally decided to part company with Alan Pardew after fans have been calling for the sacking for quite a while. Ever since the infamous incident of Pardew head butting the Hull City player David Meyler, Alan Pardew proved unable to provide the results that the Toon Army following had expected.

There has not yet been a replacement named for Alan Pardew however the club are expected to make an announcement within the next few days. Many names have been put forward by the bookies such as the Geordie legend Alan Shearer who seems to be a a huge contender for the job despite his unimpressive spell a few years ago.

Other contenders are the likes of David Moyes, Tim Sherwood and the former Celtic boss Neil Lennon

BREAKING NEWS
It has emerged that representatives from Newcastle United have been to visit the former Tottenham and Chelsea manager Andre Villas Boas. The current Zenit manager has enjoyed a solid season with the club however has never been able to prove his ability in the English Premier League.

Villas Boas has been approached by Newcastle and it seems that he has put pen to paper to take over at Newcastle United. When asked by the English press about coming back to manage in England he replied "I have a point to prove" and walked off quickly towards his car. The new Newcastle manager seems more focused than ever to provide success at a club.

The Newcastle supporters seem split over the choice of the new manager however there seems to be a general consensus that the fans will behind Villas Boas from the very start and his young charismatic personality will create a good relationship with the fans.

Villas Boas is believed to arrive at Newcastle's training ground 'Darsley Park' within the coming weeks to meet the new staff and players he will work with

Andre Villas Boas has had a few weeks to settle into life in Newcastle and it seems he has wasted no time in making changes at the club. Within his time so far he has reportedly let go around 15 U18 youth players stating that none of them had the potential to play at a club with the stature such as Newcastle United.

However, Villas Boas has decided to keep the current coaching staff at Newcastle United with the extended additions of Rene Mulensteen and Ray Wilikins, both characters who should install a winning and fiery temperament into the Newcastle first team.

Villas Boas has stated that he is expecting to bring in a few players into the first team and has told fans to expect a few players to leave as well. It i silkily we will see some movement in the transfer market around Newcastle in the coming weeks.

BREAKING NEWS

Andre Villas Boas has completed his first signing for Newcastle United in the Premier League. With the news that right back Debuchy was injured in a pre-season friendly many fans were expecting Villas Boas to sign a replacement before the season starts due to their lack of cover in that position.

The fans expectations have become a reality today as Newcastle have stated they have agreed a fee of £4.6 million to sign promising full back Seamus Coleman from Everton. Coleman has stated his delight for signing for Newcastle in his first press conference and has expressed his confidence that he can go on and win titles and cups with his new club. However the real shock of this deal is there has been a player exchange involved within the deal which many Newcastle fans seem devastated about. This is because the player Newcastle have agreed to exchange as part of this deal was the club captain Fabricio Collocini. Most Newcastle fans believe that Villas Boas has made mistake not only due to the fact Fabricio was the club captain but also because Newcastle seem to lack depth within the Centre Back position. However despite their concern Villas Boas has expressed his delight at signing his new star right back and has told Newcastle fans to expect a further flurry in the transfer market and to believe in his decisions.

Nice signing, I don't rate Collocini, so a great deal!

TRANSFER DEADLINE DAY

Newcastle have been one of the busy clubs in the final day of the transfer window bringing in two new players to the delight of the Newcastle fans.

The first signing has been the FC Red Bull Salzburg wonder kid Kevin Kampl for £4.6 million. The 23 year old can play in numerous positions ranging from a sitting central midfielder to a dangerous right winger. It is believed that Kampl has been brought in primarily to play out wide however Villas Boas has told the press that the various position Kempl can play was an important factor in attracting him towards the player.

However as one right winger has been brought in another one has been offloaded out. The Newcastle manager has once again created controversy as Hatem Ben Arfa has left the club to join AC Milan for a reported fee of £16.5 million. Fans who did not want to see Ben Arfa part company with the club anyway have stated their dissatisfaction at the fee which they believe to be below his true value. However, once again Villas Boas has responded stating that Ben Arfa was not a great presence around the team and was keen to see him leave. He also stated that the fee was maybe a little less than he might have liked, however the lack of interest forced his fee to slightly lower than the expected £20 million he thought he might have got for him.

The English centre back Ryan Shawcross has been brought in from Stoke to add quality to the centre back position at Newcastle for a reported fee of £6.5 million. The fans are happy with the transfer and see it as a good replacement for Fabricio Collocini who even they agree was advancing towards the latter stages of his career. Shawcross is a fairly young and determined centre back at the age of 26 and is tipped to be a permanent England centre back in the future.

SUMMER TRANSFER REVIEW

Newcastle fans seem to have mixed opinions about the transfer window that has just passed. However, many fans seem pleased at the young and determined players they seem to have brought in. Alot of the older and more experienced players have been let go on a free such as Shola Ameobi and Ryan Taylor however a lot of fans seem pleased with this decision as they believe they had nothing more to add for the club and feel it is the right time for change and revolution at the club and Villas Boas seems to be the man providing it.

GOOD START FOR NEWCASTLE AND VILLAS BOAS

Newcastle have started very brightly to the season with a total of 4 wins and 2 losses in the Premier League. The 2 losses were against tough opposition and were extremely narrow losses. Villas Boas has stated that the only disappointment he has felt so far is the way in which Newcastle managed to claw back against Manchester United and then to lose the game in the final minutes 3-2. However, Newcastle see themselves sitting in contention with the big boys where the fans believe they belong and see themselves still in the Capital Cup after a victory against Leeds United.

NEWCASTLE SURPASSING EXPECTATIONS

The Toon Army following have been impressed with the start new manager Andre Villas Boas has made with their beloved Newcastle United. Newcastle have lost just 3 games in the BPL this season and look set to challenge for the title if the run carries on. However, fans and AVB himself have admitted that to keep the form going will be difficult and a target of Campions League qualification may be a more realistic target to strive for.

Newcastle's recent form has left them sitting at 2nd place just below Arsenal who they narrowly lost to last game. Newcastle also see themselves with a place booked in the quarter finals of the Capital One Cup against Millwall.

Some great results there, keep it up!
Amazing results! Impressive!
Nice results but you release shola :(

ANDRE VILLAS BOAS - NEWCASTLES SAVIOUR?

Newcastle are sitting 2nd place in the Premier League table with only 7 games left to play. Many people are calling for a final push to overtake champions Manchester United and lift the premier league for the first time in their history. However, whatever happens the Newcastle United fans have a new hero to worship. Andre Villas Boas has been phenomenal since joining Newcastle United and the Toon Army following haven't sung a managers name since the likes of Kevin Keegan and the late Sir Bobby Robson.

In a recent press conference Villas Boas was asked whether on not he planned on staying with Newcastle for next season, his response will have delighted the Newcastle fans -

"Like I said before I came here, 'I have a point to prove', and my point has not yet been proven. I feel like staying with Newcastle on a long term basis to lay down their position as one of the biggest teams in the world is what I need to do. I'm starting to fall in love with the club and the fans that come with it. I'm happy right now and I don't feel like leaving just yet (he said with a cheeky smile and laugh)"

A DISAPPOINTING END TO A BRILLIANT SEASON

It wasn't quite the results that Villas Boas would have been hoping for to cap off his wonderful season with newcastle United, however the man can be proud of himself for proving critics wrong and bringing glory back to Newcastle once again. No trophies have been won this season but they've found themselves as the runners up in the English Premier League and a place in the Champions League next season. Newcastle United have something to be excited about next season.
