Chelsea Football Club /ˈtʃɛlsiː/ is an English football club based in Fulham, London. Founded in 1905, the club plays in the Premier League and have spent most of their history in the top tier of English football. The club's home ground is the 41,837-seat Stamford Bridge stadium, where they have played since their establishment.
Chelsea had their first major success in 1955, winning the league championship, and won various cup competitions during the 1960s, 1970s, 1990s and 2000s. The club has enjoyed its greatest period of success in the past two decades, winning 15 major trophies since 1997. Domestically, Chelsea have won four league titles, seven FA Cups, four League Cups and four FA Community Shields, while in continental competitions they have won two UEFA Cup Winners' Cups, one UEFA Super Cup, one UEFA Europa League and one UEFA Champions League. Chelsea are the only London club to win the UEFA Champions League, and one of four clubs, and the only British club, to have won all three main UEFA club competitions.

Chelsea's regular kit colours are royal blue shirts and shorts with white socks. The club's crest has been changed several times in attempts to re-brand the club and modernise its image. The current crest, featuring a ceremonial lion rampant regardant holding a staff, is a modification of the one introduced in the early 1950s. The club have sustained the fifth highest average all-time attendance in English football. Their average home gate for the 2012–13 season was 41,462, the sixth highest in the Premier League. Since July 2003, Chelsea have been owned by Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich. In April 2013 it was ranked by Forbes Magazine as the seventh most valuable football club in the world, at £588 million ($901 million), an increase of 18% from the previous year.

Pre-season fixtures

in order to get fit for pre-season we arranged 9 friendlies, with teams varying from Europe to Asia. we had some very solid results plus a goal fest against Vitesse Arnhem
overall we were pleased with how pre-season went and my players are more than ready for the upcoming season

Transfers - ins & outs

my first job as Chelsea boss i feel was to remove all deadwood from the club and also buy promising young talent and develop them ourselves. we managed to bring in a few very talented young players who i believe will become stars in the future

our first young player to join the club was 14yr old English sensation is Foday Nabay who we picked up from Fulham for 1.2m, Foday is a tough tacking centre midfielder and looks very good with the ball at his feet

Neal Maupay was next to join the club and this 17yr old hitman is growing a reputation for being a fox in the box,

Marc Stendera finishes the crop of young talents to join the club, Marc is a attacking midfielder by trade and will be getting some game time in cup competitions this coming season

so here a re-cap of our incoming and outgoing transfers for the start of the season, Fernando Torres and Demba Ba were close to leaving the club but couldnt find a club in time

Incoming

Outgoing

Overall six youth teamers were released because they did not have the ability or potential required to take this club forward in the future, expect some more big names to be leaving the club in the future/center]
Great start!
August & September - a tough month

The start of the season has definitely been tough, at first we struggled to find a tactic that worked for the players and we really struggled defensively whilst also struggling to break resolute defences down, our result of the month was definitely the mauling of Liverpool, don't let the scoreline fool you, we could have scored alot more and should have
heres as you can see we have struggled dearly so far but with changes in the tactics you will see a much better showing next month

first up in the Champions League we had Juventus in Turin, we definitely knew it was going to be a tough match against the Italian Champs, despite playing well we eventually went behind thanks to a close range header from Giorgio Chiellini
the defeat against Juventus has left us rock bottom after one match, though not at desperation stakes yet ill be demanding a win against Sporting Lisbon next up

round 3 of the COC drew us against Barlcays Premier League rivals Fulham, we came out 2-0 winners but they took us all the way to extra-time, our high training in fitness has looked to have payed off with my lads putting two goals away in the extra period
this win put us into the draw for the 4th round where we will play Swansea, we will hoping to progress to the next round and continue our tun to the final
Not a good start, I hope you find some form!
Griffo thanks mate, ill be hoping for alot better performances in the coming months
October

Another month, another struggle. we started October with a draw and loss in the Champions League and Barclays Premier League respectively, we finally got going to consecutive 3-0 wins against AaB and Crystal Palace before falling to the hands of Manchester United
we ended the month with another 3-0 victory against Swansea in the Capital One Cup

despite the semi positive results in the league we still find ourselves in 11th place and plenty of work still to do, will November be the month we finally click into gear?

the 3 points we picked up during October has left us in second place behind Juventus who are looking very strong right now, with an upcoming match with AaB a win could really put us in the box seat for second place

the third round put us against Swansea in a match we honestly thought would be more difficult. Swansea never really offered any resistance though and we cruised to victory
With the draw for the Quarter final on the horizon we wait to see who we meet next
Starting to get some form... hopefully we'll see you up towards the top of that league table soon.

Quarter Final Draw

Next up we meet Southampton in the Quarter Final, with a potential clash against Liverpool or Manchester United on the horizon
Hopefully you can win the League Cup as well as move further up on the ladder!
Good luck, in all comps :D
November - Unbeaten

we entered November wanting positive results and we done that whilst staying unbeateb through the whole of November. could this be the kickstart Chelsea very much need?

November fixtures

we managed 3 wins out of 5 this month in the Barclays Premier League and Champions League respectively scoring 11 goals and conceding 5, so things are starting to look brighter

we currently sit 9th on 17 points, sitting 8 points out of Champions League places, early stages yet but still plenty of work to do. i know we have the quality in the squad to turn things around and we will be looking to do so
On the European front though we have booked our place in the knockout round after picking up 4 points from 6, our win against Juventus was key in making it through, with two matches still to play though we can still take first place and avoid one of the top teams from the other 8 groups

Player of the month

Lars Bender has wowed the fans at Chelsea this month with some great performances, the Champions League clash with Juventus being the real standout as he kept midfield maestro Andrea Pirlo very quiet during the match. Benders tough tackling, energy and distribution have been key to Chelsea not slipping further down the Premier League
Keep putting good results together and get back to the top of the table where you belong!
hopefully you can improve and rise up the table!
