Muamba Takes Charge at Bolton Wanderers

Dougie Freedman has today been sacked as Bolton Wanderers Manager By chairman Phil Gartside Who felt that Freedman's performance in the league has been below par for a club with as good a history as Bolton.
Gartside announced that they had found a new manager immediately in former player Fabrice
Muamba who put pen to paper on a contract of 9 and half thousand pounds a week that last until the 30th of June next year.

Muamba was Born in Kinshasa in the DRC then known as Zaire, He then moved to England at the age of 11 He began his career with arsenal before moving to Birmingham City and then subsequently Bolton where h became a fan favourite during his years with the club before suffering from a cardiac arrest in an FA cup match against Spurs in March 2012.
He retired soon after and studied for a degree in journalism but quit due to his job offer from Bolton.

Gartside said this in a recent press conference" Despite Fabrice's young age I am sure he will lead us to much success due to his first hand knowledge of the club and his great understanding of Football.
Love me some Wanderers and LOVE me some Fabrice. Excited to see this progress.

Muamba makes first signing

Today Fabrice Muamba announced his first signing as Bolton manager signing 21 year old Wolves Right Back Matt Doherty. Muamba was very pleased with his capture of the Ireland under 21 international. When asked about what role Doherty would play in the club Muamba had this to say 'Despite Matt's young age I believe he will immediately play a key role in our fight for promotion, I also believe he will become become an important part of the Irish national team which he has surprisingly not yet been capped by.
He also mentioned that he would be looking to shift off deadweight by selling players such as Tyrone Mears and Tim Ream who he feels will play no part in the clubs future.
He also mentioned that he feels the club is currently lacking a top class striker who can get them 20+ goals this season and he will probably make forays into the transfer market to solve this problem in the near future

Good start, but to make it better, you could use more images to make it more eye catching and to break up the text, great start though, and love the choice of manager!

Nice start... To improve I'd use the BBcode and reusable icons thread. I can see this is your first story, and that can make a massive difference to the visual appeal! Good manager, strong start.. Keep it up!

Bolton drop first points

Bolton went into their second championship game of the season feeling confident on the back of two wins in their first two games of the season.
Before the games Muamba had this to say in response to journalists"I know that Reading are a strong side who are itching to succeed at every opportunity in order to regain a place in the Premier League the first time of asking but I know the lads will be up to the task".
Reading's Russian striker Pavel Pogrebnyak put them ahead with a header from close range in the 30th minute. The next piece of action was Jem Karacan's sending off in the final seconds off the first half for a nasty tackle on Chris Eagles just outside the penalty area.
Chris Eagles then scored Bolton's equaliser in the in the 58th minute with a neat finish in the penalty area.
After the match Muamba was quick to heap praise on former Manchester United man Chris Eagles who has played a key role in Bolton's good start to the season scoring in both their championship encounters.
I like the idea of this one. Love big Fabrice! Good luck for the season.
