Top Klass Spurs!

Tottenham have won their first leg of the Europa League play off tie. The saw off the Cyprian side with a comfortable 1-0 victory at White Hart Lane. New signing Klaas Jan Huntelaar scored his first competitive goal as he netted from close range to give Spurs as vital lead going into their second leg tie. After the game Huntelaar who has had much Champions League experience revealed how much his team mates wants to strive on in Europe after a poor domestic start."We will continue to work hard an try to advance as far as possible".

Premier league new boys Leicester have shocked European chasing Tottenham hotspur. A massive result for Leicester as Marc Albrighton scored either side of half time to secure a 2-0 victory for the foxes, a real snatch and grab victory. Di Matteo did not want to make excuses after the game and did not spend much time talking about it after the game. Tottenham will be hoping their form changes for their upcoming crucial Europa League qualifier.

Tottenham win In Cyprus

http://i58.tinypic.com/334i3j7.jpg

Tottenham have sealed their place into the group stages of the Europa League. They beat the Cyprian side 2-1 away from home with two goals from winger Aaron Lennon. Lennon who will have defiantly given manager Di Matteo to think about as he was given a chance in the first team due to a unfortunate injury to Argentine Erik Lamela who recently suffered broken ribs in their league game against Leicester. Tottenham fans could expect to see Lennon in the side from now on.

After the game the group stage draw took place;

Group H:
Tottenham (England)
Omonoia (Cyprus)
Zeljeznicar (Bosnia and Herzegovina)
H. Tel-Aviv (Israel)

P.S: As of this update I will be uploading monthly updates of fixtures and results. I will also do separate updates on any significant news, i.e injury’s, transfers or any big news for that matter. I started off game by game by game as I got given the North London derby for our first game and I wanted to include the Europa league play off matches. I would like to thank everyone for the early support on my first proper story on here. No view or comment goes unnoticed. I’m still getting to grips with this so any support/criticism will be greatly appreciated.

September Review

Tottenham 3-0 Southampton (Aaron Lennon x3)
Burnley 0-2 Tottenham (Emmanuel Adebayour x2)
H.Tel-Aviv 0-4 Tottenham (Europa League) (Lennon x2 Dembele, Soldado)
Tottenham 0-0 Aston Villa
Tottenham 5-0 Watford (Capital One Cup) (Danny, Tiago,Townsend, Huntelaar x2)
Newcastle 0-1 Tottenham (Huntelaar)

With no further action in the transfer window September was soon upon us. With a poor start to the season the lads in white really needed to drive to get their season up and running. Results like these were defiantly what Tottenham fans were hoping to see at the start of the season. Tottenham have been delighting fans with free flowing football and solid defensive performances. A historic month also as Tottenham have set a new club record for going six straight games without conceding a single goal.

Goals Scored : 15
Goals Conceded: 0

League Position: 10th

Player of the Month:

Aaron Lennon. Aaron had a slice of luck at the start of the month when Erik Lamela was injured. He slotted into the team nicely as his back up. However now, Erik will have to put a big shift in the regain his place in the team. Aaron has scored five goals and notched a handful of assists to go with it. Along with his five goals he had two disallowed in the Burnley game for offside, he’s showing real signs of stepping us his game and taking himself to the next level.

Roberto Di Matteo has really started to settle in as Tottenham manager. September saw his team conquer up five consecutive victories without conceding a single goal. The great performances have not gone unnoticed and he has picked up the September Manager of the Month Award. This is what the Italian had to say, “It’s a great achievement for me personally, but the credit must go to my players who have worked incredibly hard. They have been great so I dedicate this, to them. “
You've really picked up form, keep this up! Maybe add the league table so we can see where you are in relation to the other teams?
After a poor start it's picked up

Good wins against Southampton and Watford

Just press print screen on your keyboard then press CTRL and V on either photoshop or paint then crop it.

Please also center your text and pictures, sends my eyes funny!

Keep it up though, with some experience you'll turn into a good story writer and will have layouts sussed.

November Update

http://i62.tinypic.com/1zxb02r.gif

The unbeaten run continues for Tottenham, seven points from a possible nine in the premier league games. Finishing with a 2-2 draw with Stoke who are having a strong season themselves. Erik Lamela and Klass Jan Huntelaar were joint top goal scorers for this month as spurs netted a combined total of twelve goals. However the goals conceded this month was not so pleasing for the fans at White Hart lane, as the Tottenham defence conceded eight goals.

This is what Roberto Di Matteo had to say " A good month for the lads, we are still on a good unbeaten. However we are drawing too many games I believe. This is something we have to change"

Danny Rose in action for Tottenham

The Daily Mail can confirm that Danny Rose has signed a new deal with Tottenham Hotspur, the new deal will keep him at White Hart lane until 2018. Rose’s position in the team was under scrutiny from new arrival Ben Davies, who Tottenham signed from Swansea. However Rose has put in some great performances and this new deal will fend off any interest from clubs such as Man Utd or AS Monaco who were trying to lure Rose away from White Hart lane at the start of the season. When the Daily Mail spoke to Roberto Di Matteo about the deal he had this to say ” Danny is a great talent, the new deal sees him commit his long term future to club and we hope he can grow to great things at Tottenham”.

Danny Rose also stated that Di Matteo himself was a big reason in why Rose signed the contract. " He’s a great coach and a great friend of everyone here now, the lads have really taken on to his philosophies and we can go on to achieve great things hopefully.”
