Hodgson: I Will Choose Anyone In Form!

Hodgson to visit Turf Moor

England manager Roy Hodgson today announced that he was going to be attending Burnley vs Aston Villa to take a look at how Tom Cleverley, Fabian Delph and Jack Grealish are progressing.

Grealish currently turns out for the Irish Under 21's

Grealish, who currently plays for Rep. Of Ireland Under 21's could still play for England if he so chooses and Hodgson was very coy on the subject. I am here to look at anyone who might be able to do a job for England. I understand that he has not made his mind up yet and that is his prerogative but he did become available for England then I would have a decision to make because he has been fantastic this season.

Another Villa player on my radar is Fabian Delph. He has had a great start to the Premier League season this season so I would like to find more out about him and how he plays. It is a great honour to play for your country and players like Tom and Gabby have had that experience before and could well be in line for it again.

I am going though to look at Nathanial Chalobah and Danny Ings for Burnley, they have been awesome this season and fully deserve a closer inspection but most of all I am hoping to see a very good match between both sides.

Some people are saying that Jack Grealish is over-rated but this season alone he has stood head and shoulders above most established midfielders. This season in 11 matches (one as a substitute) he has 4 goals, 8 assists and 2 player of the match awards and has also signed a new contract keeping him at Villa Park until 2019 although I would expect a wage hike at the end of the season and he is also fast becoming the next Villa Idol so that will surely mean better wages soon, right?
Grealish looks a dead cert on that form... but would he choose England or Ireland, might be worth keeping Keane away from him (easy with the potential jail time lol)
I like this story man, i'll be following this.

Hopefully you get higher on the league table each week.
Awesome dude and thanks Ziechael and Red Devil for reading it :)
Hey, sorry I'm late here been busy :P I see you're doing fairly well, current position in the table is realistic enough and I see you've gotten some really good results against teams like Sunderland ;)

J. Grealish is one of my favorite talents in FM, I hope he becomes a beast for you ;)

Jack Grealish is simply a legend! He seems to be getting a bit of game time in real world football too which is great to see! I hope he doesn't get sucked into the same trouble as Scott Sinclair and Jack Rodwell did...stick it out at Villa.

Ziechael Yeah he does but I hope he stays with Ireland really

Red Devil Thanks dude, that means a lot and with McGrath being a ex-red aswell things will be said about United too

Jackn!feRoy Thanks and I hope I can keep your interest

Tilton Haha, yeah I am glad I am bringing out the Villan in you :D

James He deffo is a legend and he is going to sign a new deal irl just like McGrath has got him too, too

Vlaar: This Is The Most Talented Side I Have EVER Played In!

Vlaar speaks about the talented Villa side he is part of

Ron Vlaar has played in the top tier for every club he has ever played for over his 10 year career so when he comes out with this is the best side I have ever played with then you have to sit up and take notice.

Vlaar who has been capped 33 times by Holland, put a summer of interest from Q.P.R behind his this season by signing a new contract and now he explains just why this side is going to surprise people.

When I signed for Villa in 2012, I did not expect to still be here to be honest. I saw this as a stepping stone but then I stepped out to play at Villa Park and I heard these amazing fans and thought to myself; I have found THE side that will serve me well and it is upto me to make myself a hero here. I have never moved to a side and only stayed a short while either, Fayenoord was a very, very difficult move for me because I was favoured by there fans but I had Premier League aspirations and when Aston Villa went all out to get me I researched them and found Paul McGrath was revered as God and a tough tackling defender and I thought I could become the new him.

Okore has a big future, according to Vlaar

It was the youth side that impressed me though but McGrath's and Keane's leadership is second to none too. Lets start with Jores (Okore), he is a awesome youngster but needs someone like Phillipe (Senderos) needs to help and guide him in the right direction but what I have seen is very encouraging and I expect him to have some game time this season.

Jordan Graham has seriously impressed Vlaar in training

Everyone is talking about Jack (Grealish) but first I want to talk about Carlos Sanchez and Jordan Graham. These two, aside from Jack are the THE most incredible talents, not only in Aston Villa but in the Premier League. Carlos has the most immense ball skills in the team and once the gaffer finds a slot that he can fit in, he will be in the sid ebefore you know it.

Sanchez looks very impressive when given a chance

Jordan Graham is one of these players I was championing as soon as I saw him but none of the managers seemed to see what I saw and just before Paul came in he almost left! I am so glad he did not though. His crossing is the best in the team and with Christian (Benteke) in the team we need this. He is brilliant and still young so expect Jordan to challenge for an England spot before long.

Grealish has a massive future at Villa according to Vlaar

Finally we have Mr. Grealish, I mean he is something else! this guy is one of the brightest prospects in the Premier League. In training he plays like a child and always wants the ball but when he gets it he just tries to take it round everyone. The young lad has really impressed me this season especially. He reminds me of David Beckham! Always last man off the training ground, practising free-kicks, crosses and trying to hit the bar but has a fantastic future ahead of him.

I am privledged to be captain of this great up and coming side and I intend to be here in 3 to 5 years time too.
I'm curious how those guys will make it in the first team ! Nice update !
To be fair, Jack Grealish is Irish so his form is the least you'd expect right? ;)
You're making me want to start a Villa save (not a story, you've got plenty of rivals already lol)
RedDevil Thanks, I am sure they will all be a hit!

TheLuckOfTheIrish I think in this save he will go on to play for Ireland

Icarus Awesome you should they are a great team to manage

Lerner: Consortium Want To Discuss A Buy Out

Could Villa be about to change hands?

In a surprise announce on avfc.co.uk, chairman Randy Lerner today announced that the club is subject to a take-over bid.

It is thought that a group of businessman possibly including a ex footballer are interested in buying the in-form club. Aston Villa, who had just defeated Burnley 4-0 look to have attracted a buyer but with Lerner only wanting to sell to someone with the right tools to move them up it is by no means dealt with yet because upon selling the buyer would have to pay Lerner his £60,000,000 loan back.

I would like to re-assure Aston Villa fans that I have the clubs best interests at heart. I will only sell to someone who can prove they have the funds to keep Aston Villa football club going in the right direction. I will only sell to someone who will keep the good players here and it WILL not become a selling club.

I want someone to come in who will listen to the fans like I have and will make sure that Paul McGrath can continue as manager.

It is thought though that the consortium who are looking to buy The Villans will want there own man in but Paul McGrath will not be drawn onto the subject.

I have nothing to say on the matter, there hasn't even been an offer made yet so lets talk when it happens and I am either fired or kept on!

It is sure going to be a turbulent time over the next month or so but at least last month McGrath, Vlaar and Grealish swept all the monthly awards and it hasn't been a bad start this month with 2 wins already in the bag for the side in Claret &blue.
