NOTE:
Apologies for the short update but the amount of pre-season games I had, to do a fully detailed update would take a lot of time which I haven't had recently due to coursework, but the league updates will be more details.

Thanks for your continued support!

Manager's Notes

This month has surprised me. Winning away at Anfield and White Hart Lane is not what you except to happen when you go to them grounds. I would have taken a point from both games.

Our team is really starting to gel and they suit the philosophy and shape that I intend to play and we need to keep up our form. We have a few easier games coming up such as Stoke, QPR and Swansea but we can't get complacent.

Just because we beat Tottenham and Liverpool, doesn't necessarily mean we will walk away with three points from all of our upcoming game. Lets keep positive and see what the future brings us.

Manager Notes

I felt we have made some great progress over the past few months with some fantastic results. Notts Forest I am not surprised because we stuck out a youth and reserve players but its the league cup and it doesn't interest me.

The league remains my prioity and the fact we are in second is absolutely amazing, we are creating chances all over the field, its like watching an English Barcelona. Lets hope it remains.

Onwards and Upwards,
Lloyd Debenham
Southampton Head Coach
