Partizan parts company with Marko Nikolic

Marko Nikolic left Partizan after receiving offer from Rubin Kazan. This was not expected as he had big plans with Partizan. We tried to contact him or president of club but no response. Who will take over Partizan is still unknown but there are speculations that Aleksandar Stanojevic is biggest candidate alongside with Avram Grant and Dick Advoocat.

Marko Nikolic took Partizan on 16th December 2013 after great spell in FK Vojvodina and brought some Vojvodina players to Partizan. He lost title in last season by 1 point to fierce rivals Red Star Belgrade.

We have taken short interview with captain Sasa Ilic: "Whoever takes club will need to meet expectations and win league. We are sad that Marko left us but we do understand."

Marko Nikolic transfer history
During his time in Partizan, Marko Nikolic brought Branislav Trajkovic stopper from Vojvodina. Petar Skuletic same from Vojvodina but many clubs in Europe are interested in him like Juventus.

Youngsters during Nikolic time
Andrija Zivkovic and Danilo Pantic were best youngsters during his spell with Partizan but also a debut made Ivan Saponjic 17 year old strong forward one of brightest talents Serbia has at the moment.

Job candidates
Aleksandar Stanojevic has already been in Partizan winning Jelen Super League and Serbian Cup. He then left to join Beijing and finished 2nd and finally resigning as Maccabi Haifa head coach.

Avram Grant could get back to Serbia after short spell with Partizan. He was assistant coach in Chelsea, before winning Champions league trophy as interim head coach.

Dick Advocaat former Serbian national team head coach is also candidate who was manager of PSV, Zenit, Rangers and couple of national team.

It is known that Partizan is not in great financial position and more likely candidate is who wants less money. So who will take Partizan is still unknown but it will be interesting to see who will that be.

Good luck, Serbia have tonnes of great prospects atm, so it will be interesting how many of them you can get!
-Tallery Thanks Tallery for support and yeah Serbia has many wonderkids so gonna try to get some. Soon will be new post. Cheers
Class start, keep it up :)

Partizan appoint unknown manager! MisterLister joins Partizan Belgrade!

A move that nobody expected! Unknown manager MisterLister has agreed to join Partizan Belgrade and signed 3-year contract deal worth 375K euros. He will need to win a league to prove that he deserves to stay on this position because Partizan and other Serbian clubs are well known on changing managers pretty fast.

On press conference he has been asked some questions:

"MisterLister I don't think anyone expected that you will be head coach. How has come to this?"

"Well, you know, I send CV with my success with Partizan in Football Manager Sports Interactive game and they wanted to talk with me in live and after couple of days they informed me that I am the only candidate that has send appliance that don't want too much money."

Also he was asked which formation and style of play will he use

"Well, we are going to play 4-2-3-1 with wide wingers and my style is attacking with many passes and possession."

He was asked about youngsters:

"Partizan has many great youngsters and they will play large amount of football while i'm in charge."

Partizan squad is heading to Turkey to prepare for next season and for quals of Champions League.

Partizan Belgrade

From now on this story will be written in first person.

Well let us start.

This club was formed in 1945 and was finalists of Champions cup in 1966 and were defeated by Real Madrid. They won many trophies.

The formation I'm gonna use is 4-2-3-1

New Incomes:

We are starting our season in Champions league quals against Rabotnicki Skopje so next update will be pre-season matches and quals.

-paokarakis-Brother from another mother !! :D Thanks for posting and following. Cheers
Some great signings there mate, hopefulyl they do a good job for you
You have so much talent in that squad, hopefully you can make an effect in European competitions!

Champions League quals.

We are starting this quals. in second round and we were drawn against Rabotnicki Skopje. We are strong favorites in this match and I expect nothing less than victory.
This will be my first match as manager of Partizan and I expect pretty much.

Really dominant win for us! When I said that I expect victory for us I didn't mean something like that. Scoring 12 goals is something with what we should be proud of. Dejan Drazic and Ewandro were spectacular tonight and with them we should not have big problems in rest of season.

Next match there is not much to be said as we already secured next round in last match and this was really low quality match with one goal by 16 year old Ivan Saponjic.

Next round we were drawn against Apoel. When I saw that I was a bit scared because I knew that they are really good team made by mostly brazilians and argentinians and that proved in our first match where we were pretty close and scored no goal.

In second match referee helped us as he awarded two penalties and thanks to that we were able to go to play off and secure at least Euro Cup.

In play offs we were given really tough opponent Red Bull Salzburg. I knew that they are better than us and entered this match pessimistic but my boys proved me wrong and destroyed them with 5 goals and 3 goals by Ewandro. This match nearly secured us in group stage of Champions League

After this match everything else was just routine and we played good even with red card by Volkov we were able to withstand their strong attacks. Again 16 year old Saponjic showed that he is one of brightest talent Serbia has.

Group Stage:

Group A

  • Real Mardid C.F.
  • Manchester City F.C.
  • CSKA Moscow
  • FK Partizan
  • Great results, well done :)

-OllieGrocott- Yes, some great results for us but tough group handled. Thanks for commenting. Cheers
