I've not used Depay yet this FM so I wanted to try him out, I actually forgot about Kampl but I might go for him next season coz I really like him irl.

Pfft, what kinda Dortmund fan are you if you forgot about Kampl? But would have been cool if you didn't sign Depay. Keep the common signings everybody makes to non story things. Makes the story kind of lose originality, for me atleast.
Everyone knows Depay is good and will perform well so anothr story showing that isn;t very interesting.

September; Return of Reus

September saw us keep 5 Clean Sheets and score 10 goals as we marched up the table, it was also the return of Marco Reus to First Team duties after 3 months out with Torn Ankle Ligaments and our UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE Campaign got off to a flying start with a 3-0 drubbing of Besiktas.

Bundesliga Matchdays 3-6

Bundesliga Matchday 3: Borussia Dortmund 0-0 Hannover96

No Goalscorers

Hannover are one of the sides I have really struggled to beat in FM15 so it was no surprise that the first thing in the of note to happen was a magnificent double save from Bernd Leno. First saving Edgar Prib's powerful Free Kick and then managing to get up and turn away Hiroki Sakai's rebound. In the 77th minute Henrik Mkhitaryan had a long range effort superbly saved by Ron Robert Zeiler, who acrobatically fisted the ball away. It really was such a boring game but it's a point gained.

Bundesliga Matchday 4: Borussia MonchenGladbach 0-1

Reus 84'

This game was an incredibly tense affair with both teams desperate to win the Borussen Derby Although the hosts had the first big chance of the Borussen Derby when Ibrahima Traore latched onto a prefect cross field ball from Nils Petersen but hit shot directly at Bernd Leno, making for a comfortable save for him. The game was so tight, with what was for me a gripping possession battle, and with 28 minutes of normal time remaining Marco Reus caught Alvaro Dominguez napping when he stole the ball from the Spanish Full Back. But he just couldn't get his feet sorted out and hit shot was hit straight at the gloves of Yann Sommer who managed to spread himself big to prevent a goal. With the game nearing its climax and the away support still driving on with yet another round of 'Heja BvB' booming from the stands we set about a late winner, our concentration almost deserted us for a moment though, as Nils Petersen burst through and cracked the side of the bar. We regained composure and won a late corner, Marco Reus had his low cross blocked by Jan Korb and fed the rebound to Tammo Harder. One exquisite turn later and Max Kruse nodded it down for Reus to race in score an easy tap in.

Bundesliga Matchday 5: Borussia Dortmund 3-0 Werder Bremen

Two goals each withing 6 minutes of the break really destroyed Bremen in this encounter. You could see that it was coming as we applied early pressure, Henrik Mkhitaryan went close with a powerful left footed shot punched away by Raphael Wolf. Three Minutes after that Marco Reus skipped through and slipped the ball to Milos Jojic, the Serbian's forward momentum meant he succumb to letting the ball squirm through his feet and gathered up by Wolf. We did take the lead through Ciro Immobile, a beautiful combination play with Mkhitaryan. A superb dink cut the Bremen defence in half, whilst allowing Immobile to calmly slot home a one-on-one. Less than a minute into the Second Half and the game was killed off when Ashley Young's hopeful cross found its way to Marco Reus who volleyed home for his 2nd goal in two games. The final goal was a cruel deflection off of Luca Caldirola after a mazy run by Ashley Young came a somewhat anti climatic shot that spun in off the unfortunate Centre Back into his own net.

Bundesliga Matchday 6: SC Paderborn 0-3 Borussia Dortmund

Reus 45' Immobile 47' Ginter 64'

On paper this result seemed like a routine victory but in the first 45 minutes were torture for me personally. The hosts pressed us back and should have scored after 23 minutes, Mahir Sanglik forcing a fine close range save from Roman Weidenfeller. Sanglik again was left ruing his look once again just a minute later, this time a header right against the crossbar. Football can be cruel and it was in this match. Henrik Mkhitaryan found the right boot of Marco Reus who hit a delicate chip over Lukas Kruse. Another early Second Half goal in this game, again a goal from Immobile. The third and final goal came from a Reus Free Kick, crossed into Mats Ginter, who controlled it superbly on his chest before hitting a scrappy shot into the bottom left corner.

UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE Matchday 1: Borussia Dortmund 3-0 besiktas

Mkhitaryan 3' Hummels 7' 31'

A Three goal blitz after 30 minutes meant that we claimed victory in my first UCL game as manager of Borussia Dortmund. We opened the scoring just 3 minutes in when Max Kruse made a splendid turn to find the left boot of Hemrik Mkhitaryan, a sensational fist time drive on his left foot. 4 minutes after that and we were in the goals again, this time Club Captain Mats Hummels he scorer. From Marco Reus' corner the ball was cleared to Tammo Harder and the youngster showed some incredible skill to sneak through and put the ball on a plate for Hummels. The final goal was very similar, Reus had his Free Kick deflected to the edge of the area where a mass bundle of players trickled the ball to Hummels who again made no mistake, firing home from short range despite the ludicrous appeals of offside. For the remainder of the game we took control but allowed Besiktas to attack more toward the end, Gokhan Tore forcing a fine save from Bernd Leno on 75 minutes. Mustafa Pekmetek also had a great chance a few minutes later but his effort was poor making for an easy save for Leno.

League Table

After September we sit in 1st place 3 points ahead of 2nd Placed Wolfsburg and Bayern Munchen and still without a goal conceded. Although this month wasn't great in terms of performances I'm happy with the defensive aspect of things and the fact we were able to grind out some superb wins despite not playing well.

Player of The Month

The return of Marco Reus has been vital for us and he's contributed massively this month with 3 goals and was influential in most of our goals this month. Injury certainly hasn't deterred him and he looks better than ever.

It was an incredible return for 'Rolls Reus' as he showed why he's one of the most wanted players in World Football.

Henrik Mkhitaryan also showed his Playmaking skills and eye for goal against Besiktas.

And Ciro Immobile was yet again in fine form for us, showing why we bought him.

Keep up the good work there man!! One thing though. Why don't you have a logo pack?? It might help bring out the screenshots of the table more.

October; So Many Injuries

October was an extremely testing month for us with injuries all over the squad, none more painful than Sven Bender's Lowee Leg Break and Shinji Kagawa's Knee Tendonitis. We also endured poor results in our UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE Group against Shakhtar Donetsk and Chelsea.

UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE Matchdays 2 & 3

UCL Matchday 2: FC Shakhtar Donetsk 1-1 Borussia Dortmund

Immobile 50'

This game kicked into gear just before when, after a heavy sparring match, Alex Texeira wrapped his foot around the ball to send it to Roman Weidenfeller's bottom right corner, but the 34 year old did just enough to turn it behind for a corner. Douglas Costa then cracked a Free Kick onto the crossbar as the hosts applied heavy pressure, yet the opener was scored by our Italian Hitman, Ciro Immobile. Marco Reus did all the hard work, he just had to tap in it. This did not please the home fans, the decibel level increased to ear splitting level, flair were going off seemingly everywhere. This drove on Shakhtar and they got what they deserved, after some sloppy passing and worse defending Olexandar Gladkyi raced in to slam home the equaliser. They weren't done there either, Orange and Black shirts poured forward and that so nearly cost them when Ashley Young was given a golden opportunity after Marco Reus' superb cross but took his shot without any composure firing wide from short range. That proved costly as we drew, but that wasn't the biggest shock of the night after news filtered through that Demba Ba had just scored twice i n a 2-0 win for Besiktas against our next opponents Chelsea...

UCL Matchday 3: Borussia Dortmund 1-3 Chelsea

We were handed a footballing lesson by the Special One in a 3-1 defeat, we did however start the match much brighter and took the lead through Henrik Mkhitaryan. Nemanja Matic was having to deputise at Left Back upon Felipe Luis' injury and we exploited that superbly, Marco Reus with a brilliant dummy run allowing Mkhitaryan to occupy a pocket of space for Ciro Immobile to thread the ball through to make the score 1-0. All was good until the 65th minute when the Pensioners showed their strength from Set Pieces with a Sami Khedira drive past Bernd Leno after some brilliant control. Even that wasn't the turning point though as the match progressed further it looked for sure that it would be a stalemate. That was until the 69th Minute when Mats Hummels was incredulously sent off for what I thought was a well timed tackle on Willian. Yet Referee Gianluca Racchi disagreed and our Captain was given his marching orders, Eden Hazard was on the Penalty and I had faith that Bernd Leno would save it, and he came so close but the Belgian's shot was far to powerful and accurate for Bernd Leno to save. We were then destroyed by Chelsea with their 3rd goal being scored just 2 minutes later, Oscar with a glorious cross to Willian who somehow out lept Sokratis to nod in past Leno after our defensive line was caught drawn too far forward. A footballing lesson by the Special One, but keep you eyes out for our away trip to Stamford Bridge it's an interesting spectacle.

Bundesliga Matchdays 7-9

Bundesliga Matchday 7: Borussia Dortmund 1-0 VFB Stuttgart

Mkhitaryan 15'

Going into this game the visitors Stuttgart were in 14th Position with just one win and they continued their torrid run against us. It was a promising start for us with a fierce effort from Ciro Immobile 12 minutes before Henrik Mkhitaryan hooked in a Marco Reus cross after 15 minutes. The game was certainly not easy going though, Transfer Target Alexandru Maxim called Bbernd Leno into action from a well struck drive that was deflected over the bar. 35 Minutes in to the game saw a fine double save from Sven Ulreich, firstly he parried Ciro Immobile powerful shot, then scrambled across to punch away Marco Reus' rebound. Timo Werner really should have equalised 10 minutes intop the 2nd Half when he raced away from our Defence, yet the youngster got flustered and hit a mix of a cross and a shot which was beaten away by Leno. The final highlight was from a glorious pass from Georg Neidermeier set up a perfect chance for Werner to bag an 87th Minute leveller, that was until Leno raced off his line to preserve our Clean Sheet status.

Bundesliga Matchday 8: Augsburg 0-2 Borussia Dortmund

Reus 48' (pen) 55'

Literally this was a Snoozefest in the First Half but after an inspiring Team Talk from yours truly we managed a comfortable 2-0 win. And it was all thanks to Marco Reus, first we won a Penalty after Marc Stendera hacked down Henrik Mkhitaryan Reus steadied himself and dispatched the Spot Kick with a lovely dink to the bottom right corner, sending Sven Ulreich the wrong way. next was a trademark Free Kick 7 minutes later, a shot which barely moved in the air and crashed into the roof of the net. This game was a horrible one in general and they were literally the only highlights.

Bundesliga Matchday 9: Borussia Dortmund 1-0 Hamburger SV

Young 31'

This game started with Ciro immobile missing a sitter after 5 minutes, hitting the post from a few yards out. But half an hour later Ashley Young showed him how to finish with a brilliant outside of the foot shot into the top left corner of the net. But he wasn't so clinical early in the 2nd Half when he screwed a left footed effort past the post when it looked certain he would score. As Hamburg attempted to up the tempo I knew we needed to sit back more, we kept a low tempo possession game and it was enough to see us win again.

Mkhitaryan 4' Gundogan 31'

When Ivan Klasnic thread the ball to Henrik Mkhitaryan to score superbly placed shot inside the first 4 minutes I was sure that it would be a walk in the park. But chances were few and far between after a speculative effort from Pierre Emerick Aubamyeng 7 Minutes in. In fact it wasn't until Ilkay Gundogan doubled our lead 30 Minutes that we saw another sight of goal. Mkhitaryan did all the running, Klasnic made the pass and all Gundo had to do was roll it into the open net. The only other highlight of this game was a wonder strike and I mean WONDER STRIKE! from Heiko Westermann that was somehow saved by Roman Weidenfeller who was powerless to deny Rafa Van der Vaart pulling one back for the hosts.

Player of The Month

It can only be one man really can't it? Henrik Mkhitaryan of course! He's been incredible again, spearheading most of our attacks, creating chance, after chance, after chance for players like Marco Reus, Ciro Immobile, Ashley Young a Pierre Emerick Aubamyeng. Also showing he's just as lethal a finisher as he is creator with 3 goals, he shall be key as we challenge for all four trophies.

Injury Table

Now I said at the start we had a lot of injuries, he is my proof of that statement;


Horror injuries to Shinji Kagawa and Sven Bender as well as a Hernia problem for Milos Jojic mean we have been severely stretched in Midfield. Nuri Sahin's return to action could not have come at a better time after spending 4 Months out with Knee Tendonitis. Our Frontline has also taken a big hit with Ivan Klasnic and Ciro Immobile both gaining fairly long term injuries, meaning Max Kruse and Adrian Ramos will need to step up.

I honestly didn't think my story was that great, incredible that I have peoples loving the story thanks!

I have tests to do in school right now everyone so the story will take a week long break, hopefully one more update will be done soon. Thanks for reading!

Dortmund's Injury Crisis?

For the second season in succession Borussia Dortmund are having to endure another series of injury problems

In 2013/14 Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munchen were virtually neck and neck in early season and it looked as though the Black and Yellows would launch a serious title assault on the 2013 Treble winners, but when midfield injuries started to pile up after Matchday 12 they struggled to pick up the points, lumbering to 3 straight defeats before the winter break, the first time since March 2000 that BvB had endured the same, and ending the season 19 points behind Bayern Munchen. Fast forward a few months and the Black and Yellows look in danger of repeating events.


With two long term injuries to midfield destroyer Sven Bender and Playmaker Shinji Kagawa, along with a Hernia problem for promising Serbian Milos Jojic mean BvB are looking extremely stretched again in midfield, with Turkish international Nuri Sahin still not back to full fitness following various knee injuries over the summer. This along with serious hits to the frontline has seen Dortmund opt for a more possession based style. 'We've had to adapt to the circumstances, with a lot of players injured as well as some suspended I've had to think and say. Boys we need to change for a while.'

Could it be Jurgen Klopp's infamous counter attack that is their downfall? Kloppo has said it himself 'The players can't be expected to keep running all the time, after a while they will get tired.' this could certainly be true in players like Kevin Großkreutz, Marco Reus and Ilkay Gundogan. Two of the afore mentioned players have both endured serious injuries in the past 12 months along with several others including Sven Bender, Shinji Kagawa and Nuri Sahin.


But even with a supposedly more reserved style for last season they still managed the most sprints in Bundesliga on most Matchdays last season. 'It's in the club's DNA to get the ball into the opposition box as quickly as possible and that won't change, but that's not a bad thing it shows we have a philosophy.'

Yet the Black and Yellows have coped far better this season than they did last campaign, the squad looks considerably better in depth and with no injuries to key players BvB are looking strong. 'The importance is that we have a relaxed team spirit and that has been here for many years. I do believe the squad is stronger and will be able to challenge for even more trophies than before, but we are definitely benefiting from Jurgen Klopp's foundations he's put this club in a great place allowing me the success I have so far oversaw.

Iconic is reaping the rewards from Klopp's era but has definitely added more to the melting pot at BvB.
