Results - April 2015

Matches

April 5, 2015
Leicester 1 - 1 Stoke
Mahrez scored a great goal, but Mame Diouf's headed goal ruined our day. Hamza Choudhury was the man of the match, he is progressing well.

April 12, 2015
Burnley 2 - 3 Leicester
David Nugent scored a header early and Kramaric picked up two goals in a fine attacking performance. Goals from Ings and Arfield threatened a much-needed win but we came through in the end.

April 26, 2015
Leicester 1 - 0 Hull
I thought we would never break through! However, I put Ulloa on in his return from injury, Choudhury hoofed one up to him, Ulloa was on side, and scored to give us another crucial victory.

Premier League Table

The good news: We're in 7th with 4 matches left.
The bad news: Manchester United (A), Aston Villa (H), Chelsea (A), Liverpool (H)
The form you're in I can see you pull off some shock results!

Results - May 2015

Matches

May 2, 2015
Manchester United 5 - 0 Leicester
After the match, Limior went on an expletive-laden tirade about Falcao, and who could blame him, as he picked up 3 goals and 2 assists.

The race for 7th:
Manchester United 5 - 0 Leicester (57)
Liverpool 3 - 0 Everton (55)
Southampton (53) 1 - 1 Manchester City

May 10, 2015
Leicester 0 - 0 Aston Villa
Brad Guzan gets injured and has to go off. We can't score. I make subs. We still can't score. Ron Vlaar gets red carded. WE STILL CAN'T SCORE. Control turns into attack. WE STILL CAN'T FUCKING SCORE. Attack turns into overload. NO MATTER WHAT FUCKING HAPPENS WE CAN'T SCORE A FUCKING GOAL FUCK THIS MATCH!

The race for 7th:
Leicester (58) 0 - 0 Aston Villa
Everton (58, tiebreaker) 2 - 0 Sunderland
West Brom 2 - 1 Sunderland (53)

May 16, 2015
Chelsea 3 - 1 Leicester
We tried our best but Hazard and Cuadrado tore us apart on the flanks.

Everton defeated Tottenham 2-1 so they have clinched 7th unless we can win, they lose, and we outscore them by 17 goals.

May 24, 2015
Leicester 1 - 2 Liverpool
We had the lead with an Ulloa goal, but a Gerrard penalty and a Borini rebound goal later, we didn't. We were locked into 8th, but still a tough end to the season.

Premier League Table

7th didn't even get a EL spot anyway. It was a very good season, considering we skipped the survival part and went straight to consolidation. I have a lot of signings I need to make for next season, the attack is woefully understaffed, Huth, Ansotegi, and Madinda are going back to their teams.

Awards:

PFA Player of the Year - Juan Mata
Golden Boot - Falcao (24), Saido Berahino (22), Facundo Ferreyra (21)

Goal of the Season:
Golden Glove - Hugo Lloris (18), David De Gea (16), Petr Cech (14)
Manager of the Year - Jose Mourinho
Team of the Year:

New signings enter the club

The transfer window has opened and Leicester can officially present seven players to the team. These are all players for the future. They are:

Nicky Muller, from US Developmental Academy - free

Antonio Lima, from Orlando City Academy - free

Adrian Smith, from Blackpool - 2.1 million

Pawel Gorski, from Reading - 500k

Ben Loftus, from Shrewsbury - 200k

Andy Brindley, from Preston - 75k

Ben Ashby, from Leeds - 450k

This is just the beginning as Nathan Limior begins to reshape his squad. Rumor is he has been entrusted with a wage budget of 1.1 million per week, and a transfer budget of 18 million pounds.
Good signings by the look of it and a brilliant finish (as in table position!)
I'm surprised the clubs let those prospects go for so cheap, you're building a squad for the next 15 seasons here!

Nice blend of experience and youth there. You've got two very capable attacking wing backs now which suits your tactical style. Hopefully you can build on your first season and push for Europe or even a domestic cup.

You only live once - Leicester seal 15m deal for Gabriel Barbosa

The news came out like a shock - Leicester? Gabriel Barbosa? Yes, what is probably the first name on everyone's wonderkid lists for FM has come to Leicester for a reported fee of 15m, although they had to pay more to purchase all of him and make him eligible for play. He can play in both forward and attacking midfielder, and Leicester needed a big boost to their attack if they're to push towards a potential continental qualification place.

I can only imagine the conversation between Barbosa and his agent:

Barbosa's agent: Leicester have come calling, they want to sign you.
Barbosa: Liverpool? Sweet, I've always wanted to play for Liverpool.
Barbosa's agent: No, Leicester. They wear blue.
Barbosa: ...
Barbosa's agent: They're offering a lot of money!
*Barbosa signs.*
Barbosa: I've so glad I've signed for Liverpool!
Barbosa's agent: Leicester.
Barbosa: Wait, I signed with Leicester? Fuck me...

Great signing there, just goes to show that money means much in football...
Some good signings, and Barbosa becomes WC in a couple of seasons so a wise investment!
Some fantastic signings there, especially Barbosa!

Pre-season transfers, part 3

Out:
- Horst Schulz on loan to Stevenage
- Antonio Lima on loan to AFC Wimbledon
- Nicky Muller on loan to Gateshead

These are loans designed to get them some experience and playing time at an appropriate level. I almost loaned out Choudhury too, but he can play left back, and that's important.

In:
- Didac Vila in on loan from Milan
- Nathaniel Chalobah on loan from Chelsea

I needed a cheap left back for cover, so Vila will do, although he isn't the best. Chalobah is a future stud, and can play right now. I also have a bit of a compulsion for center midfielders.
