Pre-Season

We set up tours to the United States and China this pre-season in a hope to boost our profile in both countries and rake in the $$$. We started the American tour with a high profile match against Los Angeles Galaxy and came away with a 1-0 win thanks to on loan striker Osvaldo,

Following a loss to New York City FC and local side America RJ we flew out to China and faced some local sides yet struggling again to put our dominance on the board, hopefully not a sign of things to come I hope.

Our marquee player Fred failed to score throughout the pre-season and is something we can not afford come the start of the Rio State Championships and his damn huge wage which is double anyone else in the side and our dire finances.

Transfers

There's not much to report on the transfer front but the free signing of the one time Barcelona legend Ronaldinho on a one year deal worth 15k a week and the loan signing of Lucas Evangelista.

Rio State Championship

The Rio State Championships have begun and although we're undefeated as you can see we're lacking goals something atrocious. Our build up play and shots are great but when I looked back our false nine Fred only managed 6 shots in 3 games we dominated so I'll have to try and adjust or change him from a false nine so he becomes more prominent in front of goal.

Also damn Ronaldinho got injured 20 minutes into his debut and out for 2 months

Player Of The Month - Leo Pele

I decided pre-season that this youngster was going to be my first choice left back over the more experienced option and he hasn't disappointed so far, although it seems FM16 loves full backs and always rates them high. Leo's bombarded down the left flank and bagged a rating of 8.40 but if one thing is letting him down it's his stamina atm which see's him die out a little come the end of matches.
