Everton captain Phil Jagielka has called for his teammates to do the club proud and win the Premier League title when they travel to the Etihad Stadium to play Man City.
"We know the situation and what we need to do," said Jagielka in an interview with Sky Sports.
"The lads are all buzzing and raring to go against Man City and we know what's at stake. Three points wins us the Premier League title, the first in the history of the club and we want it more than anything. With that said, we know that the job is not done. We know that we need to go to Man City and put in a performance to pick up the three points. That is what we have done all season long and we simply just need to continue that."
"We want to do it for the fans. The fans of this club are some of the best fans in the world and we want to do them proud. They deserve success and we are in the situation where we can give it to them. They will travel to Man City and back us and we need to deliver for them. A lot of credit has to go to the manager. He has been phenomenal since he came here and has really changed both the way we play and the whole vibe around the club. "
