Liverpool started off well despite all the media attention around Lucas with a 1-0 over spurs in the cup Roberto Firmino pushing the reds to the next round.
they followed that with a 1-0 derby day win over Everton with Roberto Firmino scoring his 2nd in as many games, Firmino have been a very big part of the Liverpool Squad so far this season with 3 goals 1 assist and 3 player of the matches.

However Liverpool went too Augsburg with high hopes but couldnt seem to find there shooting boots and only took 1 point from the game, Things got worse for Liverpool as they went away to Villa park where Lucas sat with the Villa bench and Jordan Ayew scored a screamer to secure all 3 points for the Villains.

Liverpool then hosted Tottenham and hoped to get back in winning ways and they look like doing just that when once again Roberto Firmino smashed the ball in to the top corner to make it 1-0 and secure is 4th goal of the season. Liverpool looked on top after that with chances for Sturridge, ings and Lallana all failing to make it 2-0 but on the 66th minute i well placed ball through by Lamella seen N'jie place the ball home and secure a point for spurs.

Barbosa scored once again to put Liverpool 1-0 against Newcastle, Daniel Strurridge made it 2-0 with 10 minutes to go.

Unfortunately Liverpool came crashing out the Capital One Cup with a 1-0 defeat to Q.P.R Leroy Fer placed the ball past Bogdan and into the bottom corner to put Q.P.R into the semi finales.

Liverpool pushed them selves in to 5th in the league when Danny Ings slotted in the rebound caused by Sturridge hitting the bar for the second time in the game. Liverpool then beat Standered Liege 3-1 in the last European group stage game, Liverpool will face Athletic Bilbao in the 1st knockout round.
