The Brazilian is our star midfielder which'll be seen playing in the heart of the pitch behind the lone attacking midfielder and striker. The 33 year-old will play his 17th professional career and his first at the club after being traded in January from Colorado Rapids.
The Costa Rican will play upfront as the lone striker in his debut season for the Black and reds after joining from Real Slat Lake in the off-season. This'll be his 7th season in the MLS and his 18th season as a professional player
