May/June Review
Fixtures
We ended the month with two loses vs Philadelphia and one vs Columbus Crew on penelties after a hard fought draw in the 4th round of the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup. Wins vs rivals Chicago and New England motivated the team to a near perfect two months.
WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE OH WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE! YES! We are top of the Eastern Conference table at end of June above rivals such as NY Red Bulls, New England and etc!
Western Conference
Portalnd lead the table ahead of Texas based team Huston and surprise team Real Salt Lake who are above by 7 places!
Supporter's Shield
We are second behind Portland by 7 goals! and are ahead from Columbus by 5 points. Sadly Montreal are rock bottom with, you'd except them to be near the top with Drogba leading their attacking force!
CONCACAF Champions League Group
We have qualified to the CONCACAF Champions league which will see us play against Honduras champions Olimpia and Nicaraguan champions CD Walter Ferreti
Player of the Month(s)
Bill Hamid
Our star goalie and vice-captain won the club's PoTM for May and June for his incredible performance in games even though losing three...he kept was in the lead or the game at a tie many times including saving all three penalties that he faced. Bill Hamid currently looking like a future captain for the club as he grows as a player and leader.
July/August Fixtures
This month will be a hard one to go through as we will be mostly on the road facing previous MLS Cup winners and defending champions Seattle Sounders at their own ground. We will also play our first CONCACAF Champions League match away from home against Honduras champions Olimpia and welcome Nicaraguan champions CD Walter Ferreti
