Hi

I paid for the FMscout editor, then uninstalled it because I stopped playing FM, and now when I install it, I need to download the licence again, and the link it dead.
So basically I paid a big amount for something I can install once. From where I stand it looks like a scam.
Is there a way to get the licence back?
I have no involvement (or interest) with FMSE, but I'm not quite sure how it can be constituted as a 'scam' when in the FMSE forum section, there is a page stickied at the top which offers a license recovery service, which also includes an explanation that links expire after a few days.

Now I'm not saying you didn't look, but considering I haven't even the slightest interest in the tool and I could find this page within less than 20 seconds, I'd be inclined to say you didn't look very hard before calling it a scam.
No, it's not a scam in any way. And it's insulting you'd even think that, considering this is an endorsed app we release here exclusively.

There's a FMSE license recovery area you can use, and if for some reason that doesn't work for you, you can also reach out to AppCake's support email, or message thanoulas or myself via PM or live chat to help you out.

You may use the license as many times as you'll need it, simultaneously even (if you own more than one computer).

If you need further assistance, let me know. I'm checking my PMs daily and I'm also on the site's chat a couple of hours per day.
Insulting? I paid a huge price for an editor I can't get and that works only 50%. What the fuck do you call that shit, huh? There is low work on that, it's expensive, and it's a rip off. Don't care what you think. Would you buy a non-functionning car 20k? I don't think so.
You have asked for a solution, you got a solution. You've been incredibly rude throughout the entire process. The ability to download the tool for free to trial its features is there, so you can't exactly call it a rip-off. Each to their own I guess, don't expect anymore help from myself anyway. I don't like people who throw toys out of the pram when it suits them to do so.

ALSO, seeing as you can test this tool before buying it, how can it be compared to a 'non-functioning car'? Or do you just go to a car dealership and buy a car without test-driving it first too? I suppose you'd buy a house without looking inside it first too.
