Looking for advice on the best laptop I can get solely for FM on a budget. I have set limit of £300 as money tight at moment (I know that’s not much) literally will only use it for FM. Been playing since champ man 97/98. Hopefully someone can advise. Thanks.
You should check out Google Stadia, which fm20 will be on. From what I have read there is no hardware requirements as its a game streaming function rather than physical disc/digital download. Just requires high internet speed. Its basically Netflix for gamers. £120 initial purchase and around £10 monthly subscription I believe.
The 300 GBP limit is a bit low because you'll be needing specs like SSD 128GB or larger and minimum of 4GB RAM (ideally 8GB). Perhaps something like this laptop; it won't be lightning fast but should cope with reasonable ease.
Indeed there no high requirements for any game on Stadia; just to be able to smoothly run browser based games. However, there are certain downsides to Google Stadia which I've explained in FM20 will be a Stadia launch title.

So I was also looking for a new laptop, as am unimpressed by my Inspiron 15 3000 's performance with the match engine etc, if anyone has any clues i'd appreciate it,
