Monthly Review - November

A mix and match month in November and there's no other way to put it. Our love affair with the FA Cup last season will not carry on past the first round again as we find ourselves out on penalties to Colchester. We were very unlucky not to go through here, with Colchester missing the all important penalty to win the tie we need Whitfield to score and level it to sudden death.
Of course, he missed. Out of the cup at the first hurdle. Not impressed and I feel like we should've done a lot better as in both games I felt we were the much better team.
It looks like more of a rough month than it was because of all the cup games we played. The league held two losses and two wins for us which all things considered isn't totally terrible. The plymouth result was a tough one to take.
Dagenham was even tougher. We were 3-0 up in 30 minutes thanks to a Layton Stewart hattrick but as is the way of FM Dagenham got one, and then two.
90th minute, three. Livid. Dominated the whole game, 3-0 up. Basically 3 points nailed to the table and I can't believe we've lost out. There's something seriously wrong with this defence and it just makes no sense to me what is that's going wrong.
We lost 2-0 to Luton in the leasings.com trophy but as you're all aware we played a heavily rotated squad in favour of getting results in the league and it doesn't really bother me right now. Maybe next season.
A fairly short update due to the fact you've all seen this league table in the last update. Yes, because I'm an idiot I managed to mix October and November up, I've now rectified this in both posts!

Something to bring to your attention though. I'll say nothing more and leave it for you guys to make of it what you will. Let's see how this develops.
