So didn't start the way I expected so I just picked a team as I couldn't be assed waiting any longer for a job!
I decided on Leyton Orient, not because I have sort of pull towards them but for two reasons, I think it was during the 80s/90s that Barry Hearn offered Leyton Orient up for sale for £1 and also because they got promoted into the EFL 2 last season.
So starting off, I had no assistant manager, £50K of a transfer budget and £60K for wages. Decent enough challenge. I'll let you know how the few 10 league and cup games go and provides tactics used.
After 10 games and 25 points I am very happy with the start the team have made.
I am using a tactic (see attached image) and think it is called Mane^s Revenge by @bustthenet
Overall the stats are good with a 59% possession and a a decent shots on target ratio of 49%. 21 goals scored too.
I started about match 7 looking at the heatmap and then applying opposition Instructions. Not sure if this is working or not, will keep you updated.
Disappointed though that the board wouldn't sanction a course upgrade.
