Great Working what your doing with Gretna can remember them back in the day when they were in the Top flight. I'm kinda doing the same kinda thing but with a team called Clydebank.

Cheers pal! Yeah it's crazy to think the old Gretna was in the Prem and at one point in Europe! Ah that's cool! How you finding it?
Finding it good so far just had 2 back to back promotions along with 2 cup wins, i'm now into League 2 were the board want to reach the play offs in my first season in that Division.

Nice! How you getting on in League 2? You signed any decent players to help you survive/get promotion?
it's going great currently heading into January sitting top of the league, managed to get a few free agents and loan players in to help me. How's your save going with Gretna

** Season 3 update!

We begin the second half of our first season in League 1. We attempt to survive in the toughest league the club has been in so far!
We also take a look at any ins and outs that have happened. Can we stay up!?

Congratulations on the promotion! Kind of a nail biter, but it doesn't matter as long as you get through. And your new youth intake might not have been good but Conway looks like he could develop into a tenacious mid, but I had to laugh at someone who is 5'6", jumps at 2, but heads at 11. He could be a good leader for your club.

Your formation is very aggressive but I am glad the new forward is paying dividends. Good luck in the Championship!

Cheers pal! Was a crazy season. Yeah I am going to keep an eye on how he develops.
** Season 4

We go through the summer as we prepare for life after a crazy season with an ending we didn't think would be possible.
We go over any ins and outs and have a look at how we have got on in friendlies and the Betfred Cup

** Season 4 update!

We begin the league campaign as we look to fight for survival. We have also made a number of signings and couple of them could be quality additions for us..

82 season tickets sold--well done you!

The signings look interesting: depending on where you play him Dean could develop into a good playmaker and Wheeler (and his 15 heading for a winger!) could get you some massive goals. Not too keen on Aidan Quinn whose pace could get caught out against speedy attackers (anyone 12 or above) and doesn't seem strong enough to fight them off. Mason at LB could be a really good pick up.

Congratulations (I guess?) on the Championship record you set--may it never be broken! :D

Your form is improving. Bummer about the Cups but your goal was survival and it looks like you should achieve that. Your squad really isn't up to Scottish Championship level so you are doing well sitting mid-table. Due to the financial constraints at Gretna (no Cup runs, no high fee player sales, or massive turnstiles) I am not sure you will have the resources to pull in promising youngsters on permanent deals or do anything more than continue to shop at the discount bin and using what you find second hand. You are doing really well with Gretna in overcoming challenges and it will be good to see how you do, particularly once you get to the Prem (another miracle promotion, perhaps?).

Yeah I feel the new signings will help us up to the next level so we can hopefully stabilise in this league for a while. Dean currently plays as a CAM.

Yeah we are starting to lose more and more money and going out the cups early hasn't helped that. We will have try and play smart in the transfer windows in the next few seasons. We wouldn't survive in the Prem but if the form keeps up you never know!
** Season 4 Update!

We are in to the second half of our first season in the Championship. We have a good chance of completing our mission of survival but can we do it!?
There is also Deadline Day Drama!

"We did also make a MASSIVE £84 from non-domestic merchandise sales." That line CRACKS me up! Well done cracking the "Grandmother from Tipperary buying a Christmas gift for her grandson in Galloway" market.

Sad to see Tom Bell and Gael Bigirimana leave the club--I though they would have a bigger impact. But you're right: tough choices have to be made and off they must go.

Good luck surviving in the Championship and I look forward to the consolidation and possible playoffs next year!

Haha yeah we are big time now lol

Yeah they could of stayed around but wouldn't have gotten much game time now the quality of the squad is improving. Tom Bell has joined a team in Lowland League. Not sure if that is a good sign or not lol

Hopefully we can at least survive again and maybe sneak a play-off place this season.
