Hi everyone, i decided to start from zero again. I've chosed the club of my heart, RSC Anderlecht. The character in this save will be named "Maurice De Paarse"

Royal Sporting Club Anderlecht, usually known as Anderlecht is a Belgian professional football club based in Anderlecht, Brussels Capital-Region. Anderlecht plays in the Belgian First Division A and is the most successful Belgian football team in European competitions, with five trophies, as well as in the Belgian domestic league, with 34 championship wins. They have also won nine Belgian Cups and hold the record for most consecutive Belgian championship titles, winning five between the 1963–64 and 1967–68 seasons.

Founded in 1908, the club first reached the highest level in Belgian football in 1921–22 and have been playing in the first division continuously since 1935–36 and in Europe since 1964–65. Anderlecht have been playing their matches in the Astrid Park in the municipality of Anderlecht since 1917. Their current stadium, Constant Vanden Stock Stadium, was first opened in 1983, and replaced the former Emile Versé Stadium. They play in purple and white outfits. They have long-standing rivalries with Club Brugge and Standard Liège.

The new season for Anderlecht is all about the come back of our Prince (King), Vincent Kompany.


In the game he will be my Assistant-Manager/Player.

Having 10 (!) injured players does shows an unrecognizable 11. Like in real life we need to deal with this injuries, hopefully in my save it will go better.



NOTE: I've changed the Jupiler Pro League to 18 clubs with top 4 playing Play-Offs for the Championship and Q's for European Comps. This is likely to become the next formule in real life in Belgium. I removed the Play-Offs 2 cause they were just a pain in these ass in my opinion. I've added 1 extra relegation spot and the club who ends 16th will be playing a Play-Off against the 3th,4th,5th from the second division. The second division has 20 clubs in it.

Good luck mate, you have some good young talent in your squad so that should bode well in the long run, will be interesting to see how much Kompany can contribute.

This story is so unrealistic... nobody has a bigger head than Vincent!

Being a Leeds United fan, I wonder how Kemar Roofe will do under you (even though he is injured now). He was a superb striker on his day at Elland Road.

Filip Joos: Hi Maurice The Paarse, you're an unknown person for the whole public, can you explain who you are and why you think Anderlecht chosed you as someone who only played for a small amateur club called "de Zwaluw Vechmaal"?

- Maurice De Paarse: Hi everyone, I'm Maurice De Paarse, I'm 28yrs old, I've studied Data & Sports and did Scouting for some amateur clubs. the Owner of the club Marc Coucke told me he was searching for a young man who has a great knowledge of players and who can be side-on-side working with Vincent Kompany, who is also doing his first year as a "Manager". My knowledge and Vince his vision will be the perfect mix, to get this club back on track.

Filip Joos: I wonder what that will give without any experience, I'll give you a fair chance.

Peter Vandenbempt: Hi Maurice, we all know the financial part of the club, who isn't really great, the club is in huge debt and how are you looking to fix this? For example selling your big talents like Verschaeren, Doku,... or will you try to sell some of the 40 (!) players you've in your A-squad?

- Maurice De Paarse: Interesting question. I will first see player by player who can stay or leave. I'm intended to keep the big talents as long as possible, we're not a factory who keeps building talents for selling purposes. Some players who proved their skills and who are clearly up for a next project will not be keeped against their will, we just want to reap the benefits of the work our Youth Department did and the fans deserve.

Filip Joos: Do you already have a shortlist of names? Are you more interested in the foreign market or do you plan to buy players more in our league?

-Maurice De Paarse: I don't put any value on that, I'll look for the right players for my squad.

Afterthought
We started perfect with a quick 0-4, after that i took some gass back and lowered the tempo and pressure. We got too proud of ourselves and so the 1-4 was fair. At the end they pressed a little further and got a nice end result.

Filip Joos: Hi Maurice, i want to congratulate you with your first win in your career and what a win it is! I thought you were going to break the club record of 14-0 against KV Kortrijk, that record is standing over 70 years! In your first game, that would be so special.

-Maurice: First I want to thank the fans who came here with 730, i want to thank each one of them. Everything went by plan, even though we got 10 (!) injured players, missing 5 First-Players, we did succeed. Things we need to learn from this match is being concentrated 90 min. and maybe don't pull down the gass that quickly.

Filip Joos: Well it would've been more nostalgic if you got the Club record in my opinion, nice win though! I wonder if you can keep this up.

Matchday 4 starts with the "Belgian Classico", due to safety requirements this game was removed to Friday instead of Sunday.. We face Standard de Liège, our biggest rivals next to Club Brugge. This game is always known as an aggressive one, both on the field as off.

As you can see we received our first defeat of the year, it was an totally off-day. We also lost at the 3th round of the Cup against Cercle, the objective was to get to the final.

Griffo: Yeah mate we started off so brilliant but now the board only gives me a 6.5 for losing one game in the league and the early defeat at the Cup. As you can see we lately only win with a small marge against relegation clubs.
