Also great news (from some weeks ago). Jérémy Doku signed a new contract WITHOUT a release clausule, first conversations with his agent turned only out with an obligated release clausule of 27 million. After 4 tries he agreed to let fall the release clausule for 50k/month + after 25 games 89k/month, 200k for best 11 of the league. 8k played game, 7k per goal, 250k loyalty bonus, 15% higher wager yearly + the most important!
Optional Contract Extension By Club for 3(!) years 30/6/2022(+3yr), He's only 17 years old so a lenght of 2 year was max, we gonna try to keep him as long as possible or get the highest price for him possible. Now trying Verschaeren and Lokonga.

First objective now is becoming Champions. Next season we need to be 2nd or 3rd (in my opinion) to get out this financial situation without selling the whole squad.

OPINION
Should I buy Derick Luckassen, I've 4,9 million clausule in the loan

I've got 3 million budget for transfers, but I thinkt he board will agree or I can lower the général wage, what do you guys think? BUY or NOT?

Meanwhile at the top 4 countries

Bundesliga

J_ames: Thanks a lot mate! Appreciate it a lot that you follow my story (and everyone else, thanks). It really keeps me motivated to know that people have interest.

ScottT: True mate, a defaet at home against our biggest rival is a big blow for the hardcore fans, luckely I washed that defeat out with a huge and confirming win against the 2nd (RC Genk).

Eoin97: I wonder what we could have done if we played in Europe, biggest thing is to keep Doku, Verschaeren and Lokonga for next year. With the huge debt it will be difficult. Doku already signed a 5 yr contract so we're save with that for a while, if his agent don't get greedy
I think you've got to be careful considering the financial situation. Only bring in players you desperately need is my advice albeit rather obvious!

Agree with Scott - money is important. Make sure every deal is the right deal.

You are comfy in the league and don't seem to need him right now. Makes sense to build the finances early on which will benefit you in the long run.

Report
As you can see the last 2 draws were important in our lead who's been narrowing, there's still a Playoff with the 4 clubs who will play twice, so a lot can happen. Meanwhile we loaned another 25 million at a bank, making it 75 million this year. I've seen some interesting newgens coming, I'll hope we've got a new generation like this.

ScottT, LFC, Justice: Yeah you all right, I should concentrate on keeping this squad together and not going bankrupt.
You still lead the way and fate is in your hands which is the main thing. The gap being closed isn't ideal but at least you dictate whether you are crowned champions or not.

Everything is in your control, good luck!

Play-Down

Report: Like you can see we lost our 1st place (after being in the lead since Matchday 3) after some bad results against Gent and Antwerp, we're in a bad form right now. On top of that, we'll miss Jérémy Doku, Sambi Lokonga for the rest of the season, missing Vincent Kompany for 2 more weeks, they're all out with an injury. But we did a great job winning against Club Brugge, who aren't really in the "real-life" form of this year.
Every game will be crucial but none more so than the two against Genk. If you can get the upper-hand in the initial game you really put yourself in a good position.
1
Oh no, you dropped to 2nd! The two games against Genk are incredibly important, I'm surprised to see Club Brugge have had a pretty bad season. David Okereke is a great striker, so it's no surprise to see that he's one of the top scorers in the league.

Great presentation on the update, keep up the good work :)
1
Now that is a tough one to take! So, so close with an unfortunate amount of draws. Now you really have to take it to Genk and solidify a place at the top!
Ouch after such a great start to drop off now is a disappointment for you! Still there for the taking so lets hope you can turn it back around!

Well.... this just got interesting! Some big games coming up!

Matchday 3 in PO
For this game we meet Racing Genk at home, our biggest competitor for the title. We're starting without Jérémy Doku and Sambi Lokonga. We see Vincent Kompany return for at least one half, he's to important to miss for this game.

Press Conf.

Peter Vandenbempt: "Hi Maurice. How are you feeling a day before this game and do you feel the pressure for getting that 35th title as youngest manager ever for RSC Anderlecht?"

- Maurice De Paarse: "Hi Peter, I know this is a big game so I definitely can say that i feel the natural pressure, we need to win this game. Our fans deserve this new title so much. That I'll be youngest doesn't matter, I want to become the most successful one that this beautiful club has ever seen!"

Filip Joos: "The last game at the Astridpark enwith a 2-1 for Anderlecht, the game was set to end on a 1-1, till Anderlecht got a dubious penalty, I would say it wasn't a penalty to be honest."

- Maurice De Paarse: "Well Filip, you accidentally forgot that we won with 1-6 at Genk, I couldn't tell a lot positive things about Genk in that game!"

Filip Joos: "Well I wasn't talking about that game you see, I feel that you got some pressure, is it for this important game?"

- Maurice De Paarse: "I'm done with this interview, I need to focus on the game now."

Quick Interview
Peter Vandenbempt: "Hi Maurice, 2-2, not a good result, not a bad one, how do you feel?"

- Maurice De Paarse: "Mixed feelings after this game, we domintaed the game but the strikers didn't do their work, the 2-2 was a big mistake of the defence who was sleeping. We still need to play in Genk for the last game, we're now 1 point ahead but missing Kompany in the second half showed a lot of problems, also missing Doku for speed and Lokonga for creativity are making it difficult, but we can't hide behind these injuries and missed chances, we need to get back on work."

Peter Vandenbempt: "Allright thanks, good luck!"

PO Table

Upcoming fixtures

ScottT and Jack: Started with a draw now against Genk, not really a good job cause it's at home, we'll see what the following games will bring right?

J_ames: Thanks mate. Yeah Club Brugge sold Mechele and Clinton Mata, Phil Clement doesn't seem to get the club on the right pad.

Justice: True, I'm excited to see what those will bring, we really need to get in the CL-groups to get some money, now -39 million in debt (with loans, -92m total).

TheLFCFan: This match didn't give more view who'll be the next champions, now we need to get the title at Genk.
Champions! Congrats bro ;)
