Having problems getting my teams to cross when in good, open wide positions. Have hit early crosses highlighted as well as cross more often in the player instructions as well. Any advice? Thanks
It's a known problem with the match engine I'm afraid. Especially with wingers/wide mids. Full backs/wing backs less so.
You could try the match engine mod which from what I've seen fixes this issue but note it isn't SI approved (Not a reason to stop you using it, just that they don't officially recommend it).

Tried this but it downloads with a different extension with no option to unzip
I have no idea what you have done then, it works fine for everyone else.
