That's the hope. It's going to be a big summer!

I think a move elsewhere has been on the cards for a little while and that should bring about more regular first-team football to enable yourself to fully recognise your potential.

Exactly. It'll be interesting to see what happens.

Bye-bye Anfield. I've finally said goodbye to my first club Liverpool to officially join Bayern Munich for £8.75m. However, this move hasn't really changed anything. I only made 10 Bundesliga appearances during the season, scoring 4 goals, though we did win the league and cup double.

Increasing first-team responsibilities must've been a key factor in making the move to Bavaria and it has paid off! A great couple of medals this season with some impressive statistics.

Hmm, not exactly the number of minutes you would have been hoping for with a new club.

Definitely, it's great to win some silverware

You're not wrong but I believe I'll get more of a chance in the future

I'm really happy with the way the season went. I scored 18 league goals in 26 appearances which I'm more than chuffed with. I also regained my place in the England squad because of this form. To top it all off, we once again did the league and cup double.

Glad that this season proved to be much better than other recent campaigns. Onwards and upwards from here.

Another fantastic season, probably my best yet. We came so close to doing the treble, losing to Arsenal in the Champions League final. Personally, it was a great season with me scoring 20 goals in 26 games and being named as the Supporters Player of the Year. My main aim now is for us to win the Champions League.

That's a much better season. As I said at the end of the last campaign, onwards and upwards. You're certainly well on your way now.

Another season comes to an end with us winning the league and cup double. Unfortunately, we came up short in the Champions League again. In the league, I scored 17 in 29 games which was a good return with a further 9 goals in the Champions League. Now onto Euro 2008 with England.

Another great season there and hopefully you can bring the Euro's home with England in the upcoming summer. It would be quite the contrast from what happened in the real world...

What a season for me. In the summer we only went and won Euro 2008 by beating Scotland 3-0 in the final. Absolutely fantastic, hopefully the World Cup next. In the Bundesliga, I scored 25 in 29 appearances as we once again won the league but unfortunately we missed out in both cup competitions.

We finally did it! Bayern Munich are European Champions and it's a treble to boot. What a season, I can't put into words how happy I am right now. During the season I scored 19 goals in 23 Bundesliga games and 9 goals in 12 Champions League games. A great return if you ask me. Now the focus switches to the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

The 2010/11 season was nowhere near as good as last season but we did end up winning the double yet again. Not only that, I was named Footballer of the Year and was 2nd in the Balon D'or, a tremendous honour. During the season I scored 33 goals in all competitions, including 23 in 26 Bundesliga appearances.

Starting to pick up some major honours now - as a team and also personally. Hopefully you can take that extra step further and go on and win the Ballon D'or!
