That would be incredible!

Champions League: Quarter Final vs PSG

Another fantastic season for both myself personally and the team, even if we didn't win the Champions League. We did win the league and cup double once again. I ended up with 37 goals in all competitions, 24 of which came in the Bundesliga. Not bad for a 31-year-old. I've also started on getting my coaching badges as I plan to coach once I finish my playing career.

A bit of a disappointing season for the team, only winning the Bundesliga....I know I know that's still pretty good but it's always nice winning one of the cups. On a personal level, it was a great season with me scoring 29 goals in 38 games in all competitions. 20 off those goals came in the Bundesliga with 2 in the DFB-Pokal and 7 in the Champions League.

As you say, a pretty underwhelming season for Bayern. Hopefully the team can improve next season. Another excellent season individually however.

What a career you've went on to have, maybe a few more seasons in the tank eh? With that sort of career behind you clubs will be lining up to have you as their next manager.

Champions League: Quarter Final vs Liverpool

Yikes, a season with no silverware, unless you count the Super Cup. We've finally lost our hold on the Bundesliga title. We had a new manager come in at the start of the season and I've played less games under Luis Fernandez. I only played 17 games in the Bundesliga scoring 13 goals. I hope this isn't the beginning of the end at Bayern. I may be 33 but I still have plenty left to give.

I definitely think there is but the manager has other ideas it seems

2014/15 Season

DFB-Pokal: Winners vs Hoffenheim
Champions League: Winners vs Leeds

I said last season that I was worried that it was the beginning of the end and I was right. I played even less this season even though my goals to game ratio was pretty good. I think it's time I moved on to a fresh challenge. On the bright side, we won both the Champions League and the DFB-Pokal. I played 20 games during the season, scoring 12 goals. I also made my 100th England appearance, a feat I'm very proud of.

:( I agree. It's definitely time to move on.

I'd love to know what business Leeds had in the Champions League Final :O A shame we had to get beaten by Bayern in the Final (again...)

Definitely but I don't think any team wants to take a risk on an aging forward

The perks of the 99/00 database is Leeds are quality at the start of the game

Could it be time to retire? I only ended up playing 6 games during the season. It was great to see the lads win the Champions League again though.

Your stats were still looking good until this latest season where they seem to have taken a big tumble physically. Time for the next chapter I would think.
