Hi,

I'm starting my first story of FM21, with RSC Anderlecht.

I start with Pol De Tremmerie, from the most famous TV- comedy of Belgium, FC De Kampioenen. He takes over from Franky "De Frènk" Vercauteren. Vincent Kompany will be the first assistant of Pol.

Royal Sporting Club Anderlecht, usually known as Anderlecht is a Belgian professional football club based in Anderlecht, Brussels Capital-Region. Anderlecht plays in the Belgian First Division A and is the most successful Belgian football team in European competitions, with five trophies, as well as in the Belgian domestic league, with 34 championship wins. They have also won nine Belgian Cups and hold the record for most consecutive Belgian championship titles, winning five between the 1963–64 and 1967–68 seasons.

Founded in 1908, the club first reached the highest level in Belgian football in 1921–22 and have been playing in the first division continuously since 1935–36 and in Europe since 1964–65. They won their first major trophy after World War II with a championship win in 1946–47. The club is on a downhill for some years now with last year ending 8th, worst in centuries.

They are ranked 14th amongst all-time UEFA club competition winners, tenth in the International Federation of Football History & Statistics continental Clubs of the 20th Century European ranking and were 41st in the 2012 UEFA team rankings. In 1986, they achieved their best UEFA ranking with a joint 1st Place with Juventus.

Anderlecht have been playing their matches in the Astrid Park in the municipality of Anderlecht since 1917. They play in purple and white outfits. They have long-standing rivalries with Club Brugge and Standard Liège.

In real life Kompany finally seems to get his hands around this team and getting better results, currently standiing 4th of 18th clubs, with 15 games to go. In Belgium the top 4 play a Play-Off (points lowered by half) for the championship and european places, no. 5 till 8 play for the last EURO Cup II (UEFA Conference League).

Let's start the story !

After taking over at Matchday 2 (as Kompany took over from Frèink), we start at the same matchday, already one of the biggest games and most important one of the season, for fans and history, Club Brugge.

Current Champions in Belgium.

Matchday 1

Percy Tau scores winning goal against ex-club

it's got to be funny to play with the ultimate newgen factory

The photoshops are BACK! :D A great start there against Club Brugge

De Tremmerie makes a very good start with Anderlecht

is there any other menace at the league besides Brugge?

Anderlecht keeps winning and winning

Interview
Filip Joos: "Hi Pol de Tremmerie, with you on the lead, Anderlecht finally seems to get out of a long period without a good streak or a year where prices are back an option. Can you tell us how you did that?"

- Pol De Tremmerie: "To say that we already out of this dark period is a bit of a quick thought, the financial part is still not looking good, is important that we still focus on training and the will to knock for each other."

Filip Joos: "We followed some of the trainings and we saw that you find teamwork extremely important, you're more into the mental part of the game?"

- Pol De Tremmerie: "I think the basic rules of a team sport like football is teamwork, some new youngster joined the club, I think it's important to get them adapted quickly to the group."

Tango: Yeah hopefully the numbers are good of the youth facilities, had some really nice newgens a year ago with Anderlecht. Good question, I would say in real life only Genk can be an opponent for the championship. In game I'm wondering if Antwerp can do something.

Jack: I'm curious to see if I can top the one of a year ago haha
Excellent start to life but great to see the manager not getting ahead of himself despite some good results. Hopefully the good times continue.

Weak Anderlecht draws against STVV

ANDERLECHT: After a good streak of 4 games, Anderlecht didn't succeed to get the 3 points again, Olexandr Fillipov scored the 1 - 1 in the last minute of the game. We saw an Anderlecht that forgot to finish STVV, after the win of Club Brugge in the Brugge-derby, Anderlecht is now second with one point behind. The game is on.

Vandenborre makes horrible comeback in an exiting game

GENK: What was De Tremmerie thinking when he decided to bring Anthony Vanden Borre back to the first squad and even played the whole game, with a 6.1 rating you know enough how his game was. Unacceptable say a lot of fans, "Let him play for 5 minutes against a small team, when we're ahead, but why let him start against one of our competitors for the title, " told Mark, an Anderlecht-fan. Lukas Nmecha prevented the first loss of the season, scoring in the 90+4th minute.
A game with a lot of chances on both sides

Philip Zinckernagel signs for RSC Anderlecht

Standings
so Pol's work ended up being a joke after all

Dear, oh dear. Two very bad results given previous form, and almost losing completely to Genk! Hope you pick back up again.

A drop off in form, but I'm sure you will bounce back.

September: Month without a win for Anderlecht

ANDERLECHT: No wins, no losses, 3 draws in a row for the club of Brussels. RSCA didn't succeed one win against STVV, Genk and the worst of all, a 0 - 0 against Oostende. Pol de Tremmerie looks to get some trouble as the fans were very unhappy after a depressing draw against Oostende. Altough Pol haven't lost as a manager of Anderlecht, the fans demand an reaction against Eupen.

Tango: Yeah bit a small crisis, 3rd place at the moment.
Jack: Sadly we didn't succeed to Oostende either, 2x goals in 3 games, Nmecha injured for one month was a little problem but the bigger one is that there are no really good replacements for, Colassin is doing ok.
TheLFCFan: Hope we can get 2 good results against Eupen and Waasland-Beveren coming up.
