Sporting Lions: FM21 Story of Sporting Lisbon
Follow my FM21 journey with Sporting Lisbon as I aim to conquer Portugal and Europe. There will be an emphasis on home-grown Portuguese talent and we will try to play attractive attacking football along the way.
With the challenge that Champions League football will bring this year, I'm surprised to see a reluctance to improve the squad even in light of the emerging talents at the club.
Some great results and a good start to the season. I'm absolutely loving the new layout with the header and the text format!
@FMTib - Cheers bro! I have been looking at Cardoso, he may be a Sporting player very soon
@ScottT - I know it may seem silly not signing anyone, but time will tell if it is the right choice. I already have a big squad, and I only want to sign Portuguese players so my options were limited.

Nice to see you approaching the transfer window cautious and making sure you wait for the right reports and research on players before diving in.
Cardoso has been away on loan for my two seasons at West Ham and I’m just starting third and he will be in my squad after being on loan at Benfica the second season and playing a part in a title winning campaign for them

Three challenges down already, in just two seasons is a great job. However that defeat to Lyon will be one to quickly forget. Hopefully it can be used as a wake up call having had so much success domestically.
