Aston Villa: The British & Lions Challenge

Welcome to my story, unfortunatly my other story attempt got corrupted so I am now going to do something different.

I will managing Aston Villa but I will be selling all my foreign players except from players from England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Rep. Ireland.

There will be conditions to this challenge:
The Aston Villa squad has to consist of 25 players and there has to be:
1. Atleast 12 players must be from England
2. At most 4 players from Scotland
3. At most 4 players from Wales
4. At most 4 players from N. Ireland
5. At most 4 players from Rep. Ireland

If there is a player 'eligable' for a nation named above but he has international caps for a different nation then that is ok and would count for this challenge. (an example of this would be a player has represented Canada but can also represent Scotland and Wales. If I have 4 from Scotland but 2 from Wales then he will count as Welsh.)

Players in the Youth system at Aston Villa or that come through the youth system are exempt and will be listed on this post so I do not cheat. Every time there is a squad list to be submitted I will post the player and the nation he is from.

I can however only use youth players that fall into the categories but the eligability do not exist as these players would trained in Villa's youth system, if there are foreign players then they may play for Villa once there eligable for one of the countries listed above.

If a player plays in one of the countries above and becomes a English, Scottish, Welsh, N. Irish or Rep. Irish citizen then they may be signed by Aston Villa

I may loan players but again they must fall into the British and Irish Lions category and must not exceed the maximum amount of players from each country on top of keeping the minimum amount of English players in the squad.

All my coaches, Physios, Scouts etc will also be from the above nations but there are no requirements on which country so in theory all my scouts could be English or Scottish or Welsh, I will post this in due course.

I will post updates but mainly a monthly update with player of the month and the usual monthly updates. This will most probably just be the results but I will report on big matches

Transfers Out

I sold Nakamba to Zenit for £6m (rising to £7.5m), Anwar El Ghazi moved to Germany for £8.5m, Trezeguet then moved to RB Leipzig for £15.25m, Bartrand Traore then moved on loan to Rangers but that will become a permanent signing at the end of the season for £15.25m, Morgan Sanson moved to Lyon for £20m and finally Emi Martinez moved to Fenerbahce for £17m.

We raised £66.75m to add to the £35m I was given by the Villa board making £101.75m to spend.

Ahmed Elmohamedy is staying at Villa and English is his second nationality so therefore qualified to play as a Englishman.

I spent £99,725,000 total which was in my budget. I did sign New Zealander Ryan Thomas but his second nationality is English so qualifies to play.

Results

It wasn't a bad start to the league season but I am finding out quickly that we are going to be a soak up the attack and hit on the counter attack! Watkins spared our blushes against West Brom, Keinen Davis was impressive vs Portsmouth but it was Jack Grealish who was the star of the month.
He is going to be our big game player as I have already given up on Ross Barkley haha. Watkins and Oli Burke have gave a good indication of a decent partnership forming but I am still trying to find out my best 11. Pope is most definitely going to be the mainstay of this team though.
