Welcome to Football Manager 2022 and the FMScout Stories section for FM22. Last year saw some incredible writing from a number of talented writers throughout the year and this year will hopefully be no different.

Once again, this will be the hub where we will announce and keep the Story of the Month winners, a monthly competition that shall be explained below. As well as any extra links around the site that we think could help any new writers may find interesting.


We look forward to seeing everyone's stories across the year and hopefully we continue to see the community grow.

Story of the Month - November 2021 Winner




An incredibly tight first poll has come to its conclusion, with three stories all receiving at least three votes and another with two. But a winner has emerged with Jack claiming the first FM22 Story of the Month award. Jack's tale, "Leeds United: Continuando el Legado" follows the replacement of Marcelo Bielsa and the attempt of continuing a Leeds United legend legacy.

Story of the Month - December 2021 Winner




Another month where the poll is decided by a single vote to end off the year here. But it is Harleygator who claims the victory with his story "The Mercenary". With a unique set of rules, Harleygator is aiming to conquer the world of football with a twist. An exciting story that I personally am looking forward to unfolding.

Story of the Month - June 2022 Winner




The return to Story of the Month has seen a first time winner, with deadzpool claiming June's Story of the Month. His tales with at Gil Vicente in "Gil Vicente- Chasing the Sucess" has impressed his readers enough to claim the victory this month.

Congratulations deadzpool! I look forward to seeing the story continue to get better and better!

Story of the Month - July 2022 Winner




A writer who has won his fair share of Story of the Months, and now with his return to writing, Justice has claimed July's Story of the Month. Claiming 71% of the votes, Justice's story, 'Armando Perez: Latino Libre' takes a trip through Spain, with 'Mister Worldwide' aiming to conquer the world of management.
