Other information that may or may not be useful:

When I tried loading the default "rolling saves" from the Football Manager 2011/saved games/* directory, it loaded fine into Genie Scout. My saved games from the Football Manager 2011/saved games/games/* directory would not load into Genie Scout and yielded the above error. Copying games into the working directory did not work The 'rolling saves' were farther back in time, like July of 2010, where the newer saves were Feb/March of 2011.

# Jeffcapes : Hi all, does anyone know if GS runs on Windows 7 64 bit? As it doesnt seem to load at all the GUI, and an application error occurs:

works fine for me when i started a new game wouldnt work on my old save game

Yeah, I was really glad when geniescout came out, but it didn't last long. This is what I get when I try loading the game. Stam, do I need to upload a save game?

I have the same problem too. Maybe because I have downloaded more italians leagues.
Ex. Italian Seried D from group A to I; Italian Serie Eccellenza and so on.

I have that problem 2 mate and i only have top leagues so it's not that don't worry. it could have something to do with facepacks, logos, or kits people add to the game but that's just a guess

This happens when i try to load my saved games.
Works fine when i start a new game..... but i
m on 2014 and i kind like that any ideas????

I have only logos on my "Serie B". Nothing else!!!

Same problem as sgra and jeffcapes.
This is the error i got when trying to open genie scout.It freezes when loading GUI data an the following error appears:

I didn't upload my save game because it's not about that, it's about the program itself.
Hope someone gives us a clue about the error because it's becoming anoying...

I'm freaking out =S i was so glad and then that didn't work lol

it is like after several saves genie stops loading. I mean when we open a new game it works but after 5-10 saves it is not working. Everybody got the same problem i think

Hope you can find quickly a solution.

I only found one mistake so far, which also appeared earlier in the last scout for FM 2010: the names of some regens from Brazil are not same in the game, while FMRTE found them under their real names. For example, Genie found Rob, while in the game his real name is Vinicius.

im using xp service pack 3! i dont think its related to vista or 7.

Hi Stam,

I have the same problem kuabba82 when I tried to load my saved game(ver 11.2.1 steam update).

however, when I created a new game with ver 1.10 and load it to GS11. it worked fine without any problem.

Probably GS11, doesn't work with latest patch from steam.
