Champions League - Maccabi Tel Aviv Sports Club A – 18.09.13

4-2-3-1
Anders Lindegaard, Kyle Walker, Chris Smalling, Phil Jones, Jordi Alba, Tom Cleverley, Paul Pogba, Ashley Young, Eden Hazard, Wayne Rooney, Javier Hernández
Subs Used – Rafael, Anderson, Danny Welbeck

Went 2-0 at half time but turned things around in the second half with goals from Smalling and Pogba. I was angry at the performance but glad I managed to get a point. Also Cleverley got injured.
Injury News – Cleverley out for 5 weeks.
League Game – West Ham H – 21.09.13

4-2-3-1
David De Gea, Rafael, Chris Smalling, Phil Jones, Fábio, Paul Pogba, Anderson, Eden Hazard, Wayne Rooney, Mario Götze, Javier Hernández
Subs Used – Jack Rodwell, Nani, Danny Welbeck

Hernández put United in control with a very tidy finish after 2 minutes. Carlton Cole then equalized with a close range header. Götze then scored after a Hazad cross and then Welbeck completed the scoring with a well-placed shot in the 87 minute. The man of the match went to Hazard who was superb with two assists and caused lots of problems for the West Ham defence.

League Cup 3rd Round – Hull A – 24.09.13

I decided to rest my defence and I also gave squad numbers to Kristian Davies (my regan LB) who will wear 39 and Jack Barmby who will wear 41.

4-4-2
Anders Lindegaard, Michael Keane, Sean McGinty, Luke McCullough, Kristian Davies, Nani, Jack Rodwell, Mateo Kovačić, Ashley Young, Danny Welbeck, Federico Macheda
Subs Used – Jack Barmby, Anderson, Mats Moller Daehli

A good win with Welback scoring all three. Also Kovačić had a great game creating two chances.
Injury News - Javier Hernández injured in training and will be out for a month.
League Game – Wolves A – 28.09.13

4-2-3-1
David De Gea, Kyle Walker, Phil Jones, Nemanja Vidić, Jordi Alba, Jack Rodwell, Anderson, Eden Hazard, Mateo Kovačić, Mario Götze, Wayne Rooney
Subs Used – Ashley Young, Darren Fletcher, Nani

A great game for the natural as it finished as a 2-2 draw. United goals came from Kovačić and Vidić.

4-5-1
David De Gea, Chris Smalling, Phil Jones, Nemanja Vidić, Jordi Alba, Paul Pogba, Darren Fletcher, Anderson, Eden Hazard, Mario Götze, Wayne Rooney

Another 1-1 draw this time it was Welbeck that scored.
mateo kovacic is getting high or low ratings?
Godman,

I saw you were looking for a new forward (though i dont know if youve found one yet), but i would strongly recommend Edinson Cavani. He works wonders at Man Utd. Bought him in the first season for around £27 mil, and he had consistently scored 30 goals a season (and i am currently starting my fourth season).

I am new to this, but my current starting line-up is (generally speaking):

De Gea
Jones, Howedes, Vidic, Evra
Nani, Hazard, Hamsik, Bale
Cavani, Rooney

Subs:
Stegen, Smalling, Fabio, Fletcher, Young, Welbeck, Hernandez

Any suggested signings/tips would be helpful. I recently thrashed Man City 5-2, with a delightful hat-trick from none other than Cavani.

Maybe a defensive midfielder?

Cavani signed for Spurs in June 2012.
