Ronaldo and Messi aren't close in real life anymore, Messi completely dominates. I prefer Benzema over Ronaldo anyway.

Messi 2011/12 Spanish La Liga - 10 Games - 13 Goals - 6 Assists - Shots 58
Ronaldo 2011/12 Spanish La Liga - 10 Games - 10 Goals - Assists Shots 64
2010/11 Season
Lionel Messi - La Liga: 31 goals - Spanish Cup: 7 goals - Champions League: 12 goals - Spanish Super Cup: 3 goals = 53 goals
Ronaldo - La Liga: 41 goals - Spanish Cup: 7 goals - Champions League: 6 goals = 54 goals
I agree Messi is the better player. I was just making the point that statically they always seem very close (the above confirms this and is based on real life not FM)
League Game – Aston Villa H
4-4-2
Line Up - David De Gea, Rafael, Phil Jones, Nemanja Vidić, Patrice Evra, Nani, Ryan Giggs, Anderson, Ashley Young, Javier Hernández, Wayne Rooney
Subs Used - Park Ji-Sung, Darren Fletcher, Danny Welbeck
A hat trick from Hernández and a header from Jones got me a 4-2 victory. Villa’s goals coming from Darren Bent.
Ah statistically, yeah I'll agree with that, mainly because Messi scores his goals by himself whereas Ronaldo just hogs the chances his team creates. Looking forward to the rest of your story.

Following this André Villas-Boas was sacked by Roman Abramovich as the defeat left Chelsea in 6TH place and 20 points behind me.
League Game – Manchester City H
4-5-1
Line Up - David De Gea, Chris Smalling, Phil Jones, Nemanja Vidić, Patrice Evra, Anderson, Darren Fletcher, Michael Carrick, Nani, Ashley Young, Wayne Rooney
Subs Used - Ryan Giggs, Antonio Valencia, Javier Hernández
De Gea kept me in it during the first half making saves from Sergio Agüero, Edin Džeko and Yaya Touré. After 60 minutes I brought on Giggs for Anderson and Valencia for Nani as both players were not having the best of games and very little was happening for me. After 15 minutes both players linked together to created the only goal. Giggs released Valencia with a beautiful through ball to Valencia who was brought down by Gaël Clichy who was already on a yellow card, he was then sent off. From the resulting free kick Giggs whipped it into the box and Jones towered above everyone to score. Great day for the fans and sweet revenge for the Community Shield defeat.
My next game is against Liverpool who lost to Arsenal but even better than that was that Luis Suárez was booked and will miss their next game against Man Utd on boxing day (so a early Christmas present).
Transfer News - Mateo Kovačić all signed up for 7 million. Had to act now as City had a 7 million pound offer accepted as well but Kovačić decided on United. He will join up in June.
