#54655 dannyisaacs : I've followed your story closely recently having had a similar experience with United and found the formations you have implemented very useful with my United team after 5 seasons. I'm looking to start a new game and just wondered what leagues/game detail/player count that you used for your game? After 5 seasons with United on my old laptop there is hardly any regens and I'd like to have a realistic level of detail with sufficient regens coming through...

I also use my lap top and I have a lot of leagues loaded (slower game but more player depth).
Okay mate, like I said I wasn't being negative as you've worked wonders. I am looking forward to these years in your management though as the younger kids should start to take over and you'll hopefully stop making big-money buys

I know you were not being negative (I appreciate your comments) as for my transfers they are pretty much over now anyway as that was the plan for after 5 years. Also at the moment I have the youngest squad in the League at the moment (average age is about 24).
Transfer News – Macheda has moved to Malaga for £5,250,000.
Pre Season – A good pre season winning all games scoring 40 goals in 7 games (included a 3-2 win against Barcelona and a 5-0 win against Inter).
Sweet pre season man! 5-0 against Inter is an awesome result, what type of team do they have?
Olympic Football Final – It was Spain against Brazil (I had Iker Munain and Deulofeu involved for Spain and Chorão for Brazil). The match ended 1-0 to Spain. All my players started on the bench and only Deulofeu and Chorão featured. However it was Chorão who gave away the penalty that Spain scored from.

Not a bad team but it was their first pre season match.
Community Shield – Liverpool - Wembley – 07.08.16

4-2-3-1
David De Gea, Rafael, Phil Jones, Jonny Evans, Gareth Bale, Tom Cleverley, Paul Pogba, Eden Hazard, Mario Götze, Shinji Kagawa, Javier Hernández
Subs Used – Fábio, Danny Welbeck, Mateo Kovacic, Wayne Rooney

Drew the match 1-1 with Hernández scoring so it went to penalties and Hernández and Fábio both missed so Liverpool won.
Transfer News – Lennart Larsen has moved to Millwall on a season long loan.
Transfer News – Carlos Fierro has asked for his contract to be terminated and I have accepted his request.
Injury News – De Gea broke his finger in training and will be out for 6 weeks. So time for Marc-André Ter Stegen to step up and Sebastian Witt will be his backup.
