Hello my fellow FMer's,

This is my first story since playing Football Manager. I have tried to do all this before but feel that it wont be good enough.
So going to give it a try anyway.

After a season in charge of Manchester City it was a very successful one, because it became an historic year for this club as i wont the Premier League and FA Cup, which was a delight to the board and the fans!! Also was a good debut season for David Silva as he picked up Players' Player of the Year for his 22 assists.

The person I was most happy with last season was Carlos Tevez he was phenomenal season as he scored 47 goals in 51 appearance
34 goals in the Premiership and 13 in other competitions.

With this current crop of players I feel that I can hopefully dominate England by winning every title possible, which leaves me the Community Shield and League Cup. The only European title that I crave is the UEFA Champions League!
good luck with the story, look forward to how you get on.
Yeah good luck, I'd like to see you win the treble, or quad!
Cheers Guys!

Season 2012/2013
Season Expectations : Win Premiership 6/4 favourites
Wage Budget : £3.3million Transfer Budget : £71million.

Signings:
Jung Sung-Ryong - AEK - £3.5million (Goalkeeper)
Lucien Mbom - Arsenal - £2million (Striker)-tipped for the future

My aim for this season is to retain my Premiership Crown and FA Cup, and will work towards winning the Community Shield and League Cup.
Also after narrowly missing out to Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League this is also something i will aim for also this season.

My Opening fixture of the 2012/13 season is my fierce rivals Manchester United at Old Trafford, Boxing Day is against Arsenal and last fixture of the current season Aston Villa at the City of Manchester Stadium.

Also at the end of last season the Chairman and the board have indicated they have looked into buying the stadium off the owners. Will take 6months to complete paperwork!
Whilst in pre-season i made to big signings who i though could bring depth into my team:
Mathieu Flamini - free from AC Milan
Nicolas Anelka - free from Chelsea
Kyle Walker - £7.5million - Tottenham (future star)

A few sales within the team too:
Vladimir Weiss - Lazio - £7.5million
Nedum Onuoha - Newcastle - On Loan ( £1.8mil fee upfront )
Mounir El Hamadaiou - PSG - On Loan ( £4mil fee upfront )
Flamini and anelka.. ON A FREE TRANSFER?

D';.

@ATREIDAS
" Yeah I was shocked when I looked in the search criteria "

In pre-season I had good wins and a draw:
Man City 3-1 Walsall
Ipswich 0-4 Man City
Cliftonville 0-10 Man CIty
Torquay 1-7 Man City
Atletico Minerio 0-3 Man City
Napoli 0-2 Man City
Al Jazeera 3-3 Man City
Man City 5-2 Juventus

A fantastic pre-season which has me geared up for the season. Key Man was Edin Dzeko.

Next Match: Manchester United v Manchester City in the Community Shield 2012
Gl m8! Nice attack, you look like u have one problem though.

-----------------------------------Attack ¬/----------------------------------------
----------------------------------Midfield¬/----------------------------------------
-----------------------------------Defence X----------------------------------------
I mean, your attack is perfect, but you concede goals against bad teams, Walsall, Torquay, Al Jazeera? For goodna sake, Next transfer window, reinforce defence.
Well i have £74million to spend, give me ideas of who i can buy???

12-08-2012 Community Shield
Manchester United 1-4 Manchester City

Manchester United succumbed to a 4-1 loss in this afternoon's English Community Shield clash at Wembley.
Cultured striker Sergio Aguero gave Manchester City the lead with an accurate finish in the 28th minute. Striker Danny Welbeck then equalised for Manchester United in the 53rd minute with a real poacher's effort.
Experience striker Nicolas Anelka then put Manchester City in front after 72 minutes with a finish executed with aplomb. Nasri scored with a deftly executed finish in the 80th minute to extend the lead further.
Flamboyant midfielder David Silva completed the rout with a placed shot from close range which hit the inside of the post before crossing the line on 90 minutes

Man of the Match: Phil Jagilka (Man City)
Attendance: 90,000
Sign a defender/keeper. It looks like your conceding a lot of goals.
Good luck!
Players who I'm interested in:
Goalkeepers
Gianluca Buffon-Juventus
Iker Casillas-R.Madrid
Igor Akinfeev-CSKA

Defenders
Philippe Mexes-Roma
Pepe-Real Madrid
John Terry-Chelsea

or if you have any ideas of your own please drop me ideas
After dominating Manchester United in the 2012 Community Shield, they become my first opponents of the 2012/13 defence of my Premier League crown.

Premiership 19/08/11
Manchester United 2-1 Manchester City
Manchester United battled their way to a 2-1 victory in this evenly-matched contest between two hard working teams.
Nani had no trouble from scoring from the spot when Kompany conceded a penalty. Scotland captain Darren Fletcher doubled United's lead with a poorly struck effort from inside the penalty area on 30 minutes.
An error from United's Patrice Evra allowed centre-back Phil Jagielka to socre a close range header. With City staring in defeat, there was controvesry as world class midfielder Nigel De Jong then had a penalty shout turned down.

Current manager Walsall_Craig joined City in July 2011 and has been in charge for 14months

Man of the Match : Nani - Manchester United
Attendance: 75,797
Due to exceeded prices for their goalkeepers I will leave it this transfer window, and wait til January.

Next Opponents are Newcastle United, this should be an easy game for my team as these were incosistent last season.

25/08/2012 Premier League
Manchester CIty 1-0 Newcastle United
Manchester City showed their superiority in a 1-0 victory over Newcastle United during their English Premier Division game at The City of Manchester Stadium, but they could and should have scored more.
Things turned sour for Newcastle United when striker Demba Ba earned himself and earlybath for a vicious foul on 3 minutes. City finally took the lead when cultured striker Sergio Aguero scored a screamer from some way out on 48 minutes.
Man City had a number of attempts at goal but their profligacy mean they didn't score as many as they maybe would have liked

Man of the Match: Sergio Aguero - Manchester City
Attendance: 47,405
Marc-André ter Stegen is an excellent prospect.
Should cost somewhere between £10-15m
@6394 is he a defender or a goalkeeper???

End of the transfer window for the summer, brought some decent signings :) now will see how these perform for me this season, will also look at my team and see what deadwood i have to get rid of...because i have to many defenders and midfielders, some will be sold and on loan
